Such a great idea and the game feels insanely polished for a game jam! Well done!

I love this!!! You really captured a unique vibe and I feel like the fact that you only have minimal feedback / audio which is very well placed/polished really adds to this :) like the audio coming in very smoothly when you bite your tail, the goofy ragdolling when you collide etc (I feel like this is the exact type of project game jams are for)

Developer

Thank you! :D

We love paying attention to the smallest details, and it means a lot to us when someone notices and appreciates them! <3

Good game! The music was great and I really liked the gravity mechanic gameplay!

Very creative timing challenge

Thank you! :)

Great game. I felt like I was chasing my own tail in last level, but I did it! And music were really epic

Thank you! :D

I love gravity simulators, and I think you guys really tackled the theme of the jam in a unique way. you have both orbits (looping) and ouroboros (looping) and both connected them seamlessly without it feeling disjointed, as well as made a game that is like no other in the jam. great job!

Thank you! <3

Another space entry!  Nice!

Really interesting little puzzle game.  Took me a little bit to understand sort of how different planets affect the snake. But once I got it the rest fell into place.

Solid entry.  Nice job.

Thank you! :D

I think that your game had everything in place! Nice simple gameplay, fitting theme and cool sounds. Well done!

I really liked the story background and the atmosphere of the game, the music is great ! If I had to suggest one thing, I would’ve liked a bit more control over the snake. Also, the extra levels are sooo hard, but really cool!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! :D

I would have loved to explore more types of player interactions, but the snake model and its logic were very time-consuming, so I didn’t have time for that. Also, having gravity create looping orbits was part of our initial idea, and we decided to stick with it!

Yes, the extra levels require precise timing! That’s why I chose not to include them in the main story progression. :)

The "ragdoll" on fail is great

So many differnet interpretations of the ouroboros, loved this one sapce themed snakes ... should be terrifing if i'm beeing honest but hey here we are

Developer

Haha, thank you! :D

Yes! A lot of ouroboros! It's super fun to see all the different ways it can be used in a game!

The snake having rope physics whenever it hits something really sold this for me lol, I also really like the sound design and the idea is pretty great!

The music was unexpected but really good, liked the game...

I love the ancient arcane vibes juxtaposed with the gameplay of a rubber snek nomming its own tail :3

The black and white photo version of the final ouroborous is a nice touch, and I love how it the sneks just implode upon contact with a planet.

Developer

Thank you!! :D

That was our goal for the vibes, so we're happy it works! :) :) :)

Congratulations on the game, guys. I found it very creative. Seeing the snakes moving really tickled my brain.

My only suggestion is to perhaps add some indication of the planets' gravity zone to give the player some kind of feedback.

Otherwise, congratulations.

Developer

Thank you!! :D

Interesting idea! But right now, gravity has an infinite range, like in real life. I did try limiting it to a certain radius at one point, but I couldn't create any working levels that way.

I still think there's a way to make the game more intuitive tho, but I haven't found it yet! )=

Short, and Sweet.   It is very beautiful to watch it wrap around to grab its own tail. Wish it was slightly more forgiving with the timing, and could be expanded out into a full game.  Great job!

Developer

Thank you!! :D

We tried so hard to make it more forgiving! We managed to do something, but gravity is very chaotic, so it is still not intuitive! )=

This submission was rather fun but a little puzzling. I understand it's under time constraint so very much everything is a rush job but this felt more like an interactive tech demo more than a game. Artworks of the splash screens and the narrative were beautiful but the game felt frustrating at times as there's no guide to when clicking at the wrong time. I will however admit it was very satisfying to see the shapes made even when failing, and extremely satisfying to get it correct. Satisfying enough to make me sit and complete the optional levels! All in all fun little experience just a little bit unfortunate!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! :)

Yes,  I know that gravity can be very confusing, and at least in the way it is implemented, it is hard for the player to figure out the correct strategy. For this reason, we tried to accept the chaos and make the game fun when you fail!

Thank you again for the feedback, and congratulations on completing all the levels!! :D

Unique idea and story, I like it a lot! The controls were a little strange and it kept resetting which was a little confusing, but I did beat it in the end. Congrats on the sumbission!

Developer

Thank you!! :D

Yes! The gameplay is super simple, so I thought it didn’t need much explanation. But it can be confusing if you expect more to do!

Cool snakes!

really interesting idea especially the correct gravity according to the mass, but there was a lack of feedback on what i can improve as a player to solve the puzzle

Developer(+1)

Thank you! :)

Yes, you are right! Gravity can be very chaotic sometimes! D=

We did our best to make it as intuitive as possible, but there is still room for improvement!
