The art is amazing! I really like your style. I had trouble figuring out how to change the path and the runes could use a tutorial or even just a label when choosing. Other that that it's a lot of fun.

A very beautiful game! Wonderful art!

Really nice art and atmosphere.

It took me a while to realize that the hero’s path could be changed.
The “Continue” button was a bit frustrating, since I had to reach for it and it threw off my aim.
Great job!

The art is gorgeous, I really want to like this game but I still cannot tell what the runes do! It took me ages just to figure out how to move the loop!

Such a gorgeous looking game! A tutorial would be nice for the runes but other than that, well done :)

Nice art. With some animations it would look even better. Audio can be improved as well. And maybe explaining the runes before hand might be a good idea. But overall good game.

ah, there is sound, but there is also a bug, so in some cases it does not play.

I think the game could use a tutorial explaining the runes, but I enjoyed it once I figured out what to do. I also found a bug where I accidentally moved one of the crystals off the screen and couldn't get it back, which made using the runes a bit harder. But very good work, overall!

Beautiful art style and music !! I love that we're left to discover/guess what each rune does

Maybe a short tutorial would be needed to understand that the loop can be modified ? Ii took me a few deaths to figure it out

Such a beautiful game! The idea is pretty unique, and the gameplay is satisfying. I think I got what runes do after a couple of loops, but maybe it would be also fine to explain them from the very beginning :) At some point the music stopped (and I liked it so much!), and I also felt that it became easier to deal with the enemies after several loops, as runes made me too powerful :) Maybe the difficulty could be increased a bit!

Great work :)

This game is very entertaining, the art is very beautiful, good work.

Cool concept! Kind of a tower defense in, err, reverse-ish? I didn't immediately realize you could adjust the loop, but that really brought a lot more depth into it. I think the runes could be explained, as I didn't quite grasp how they differed. Overall, nice!

i like the setting and art was amazing the audio as well

Interesting concept and play on the loop theme.

I liked the idea of the rune upgrades you get after each loop and how it influences the path you make. If this game is expanded on after the gamejam, it would be great to see stronger enemies, in my playthrough I got lucky with the rune placements so I was pretty much invincible.

Art style was really nice and I thought the interperation of the loop theme was really good. :)

Liked how the theme was handled here. Also nice atmosphere supported by the artwork!

This concept is seriously solid.

With a bit of extra polish and better balance, this could turn into an absolute banger of a game—the potential here is enormous.

In its current state, randomness plays a pretty heavy role in determining whether a run succeeds. Preventing spawns at the screen edges could help even things out. A “loop pillar” upgrade—maybe every 10 loops or so—that allows players to customize the loop further could really enhance the experience.

Also, heads up: if you play long enough, the music just gives up and stops 😅

Still… the idea is so good, I might just “borrow” it one day 😉

I was surprised that this game has almost identical theme inspiration as ours, but vastly different style!

An interesting game to be sure! I managed to get incredibly far thank to focusing on the fire and life pillars. The game really does hit that zen state of careful, but not overly cautious, planning that made me lose track of time playing it. I do think I would have liked the music to loop and some measure of progress  shown so that I could see how far I've gotten through. Other than that, great art, great game.

Hi! Solid entry! I liked the Zen atmosphere even though the game is pure combat it feels somehow relaxing and calming :D

I did not understand much how to choose the bonus each loop. I wish I could have a short description (could be cards ?). Otherwise it's simple but really fun to play, congrats for the idea ! Even the home made artworks are really nice ! :)
