It's a cool idea, I wish I knew English :)

That was a nice experience (:
I wish you showed the whole poem at the end though

I love artsy games and I enjoy the premise here of writing out a poem by finding the missing words. I like that the length of the poem amounts to the number of steps the player can take. But I do feel that this could use a few more design iterations to get the most out of it.

See, I caught myself neither looking at the poem appearing at the top nor the words under my feet (clever as it is to show the amount of steps that way). I simply started looking for shiny things, clicked the word, then went on looking for the next shiny thing. It wasn't about the poem any longer, and that's a shame. While I don't have any concrete suggestions, I do think you could (for this game or future games) consider different ways to intertwine the poem more directly with the player's actions and goal, meaning the thing I'm going to be focused on/looking at. I remember a game (also on Itch.io) that does something like this that might be worth a play for inspiration.

Also, I would've liked to get to read the final poem at the end.

Sound design was beautiful and the technology used here to capture the forest is really fascinating, though admittedly it borders slightly on being a bit dizzying to move through, but not so much it deterred me from playing it to the end.

Really unique experience and i was not expecting that from a theme like that lol ! The environment is really earthy and special that it feels like a completely new type of game, but i must say it was quite laggy on my end so i couldn't enjoy it as much as i would have loved to

Either way really great job!

An absolutely unique take on the theme! I liked how it was relaxing and soothing to wander through the poem :) btw can you read the poem somewhere? I think I might have not grasped everything while I was playing!

I might say that I was a bit distracted by the surroundings, but it was probably because I expected to explore a forest after I saw your game banner :)

Great experience!

Wow, what a unique experience! I quite enjoyed it!

This is really cool! I enjoyed the visuals a lot. It was more of an experience than a game, yet it felt better than most of the games I playtested in this jam. Huge well done to the authors, and thanks for the ride

Very unique! It's really calming to just be able to walk around and explore instead of having to crunch towards a specific goal

wow, haven't played a game like this. Loved the feeling of zen in a game jam, awesome stuff!

Very relaxing and cool visuals!

After an intense few days of making the game and trying out so many submissions, this felt relaxing—a needed experience at this time.

Some can say we are touching grass ;)

This is an interesting game. Really stands out from the crowd. Such an atmospharic game.

I loved the calm and relaxing music so much! The idea is very creative, well done! :)

Wow that is very impressive. The music goes so well with the theme and I love a game around poems, there are too few of them! Very trippy visuals, but not distracting or noisy. This is really solid work.

Really interesting and atmospheric!

Beautiful poem, beautiful visuals, beautiful game!

Maybe more a experience than a game. A really poetic experience. Thank you for that. It was so interesting to find this game among all the others. I enjoyed it.

Do you need a specific camera to capture gaussian splating, or is it a post processing effect? Amazing visuals honestly.

Developer(+1)

Hi! Nope, you can use any camera (we used our phones)! We used Jawset Postshot to process the gaussian splatting and then coded shaders for the visual effects. Thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed the experience!!

I love the creativity of this game. Although I'm not a huge fan of poetry, the graphics and audio create an almost dream-like atmosphere that complements the poetry. I enjoyed this experience a lot!

This was an exquisite game. Very unique and cool graphics, especially when you walked into the grass! I was confused at what to do, so my wish is to add a tutorial. Anyway, the music really matched the mood. It was fun seeing the poems on the ground. Good job!
