How does your game fit the theme?
In the game you play as a person who gets stuck in a loop in each of the 13 rooms, to progress you must figure out how to "break" this loop! Each room has a different puzzle to break the loop (or at least most of them do)

Really fun game! Great job! :)

This game is fun to play! I liked the dialog interactions and its ending. =)

This game is really unique and fun! The puzzles all seem pretty well thought out and well polished. Good job!

Very cool premise with heavy Shu Takumi vibes! I didn't quite enjoy the parts where you had to check multiple objects, but I had the blast with the rest of the game. The audio especially deserves praise, I got ghost trick on my mind for the entire playthrough. Very well done!

Wow, what a great game! It's kinda similar to mine with the top-down style and escaping the room! I enjoyed the puzzles a lot, even though I had to get help from the game description for room 3 and 13 since interacting with objects in the room didn't hint as to what I was supposed to do, and your bug fix for room 10 helped me out.  I think adding some sort of hint or nudge in room 3 would help players figure out what to do. The humor was good too. Great work, keep it up :)

What A Nice Game! but maybe someone will stuck in the puzzle where he must get 4 coin because no one will guess that he must keep searching until he get +9999 coins

also can you tell me why solution of last room is to call number 1

keep going!!, you get 5stars

Developer

Yeah you're right many people got stuck on the coin puzzle, that's my fault :'(

About the solution for room number 13, it might really not make a lot of sense but I wanted to fit the loop theme a little more, so when you call room number 1 you get the first phone dialogue of the game ("it seems you're stuck in a loop, etc"), but this time it is YOU who says it, implying YOU were Number 13 all along! Not necessarily a loop but it does connect to the start of the game.

Thanks a lot for playing, and for your input!!

ohhh! what a good story, so it should be happy ending because he didn't get back to the room 1 he was helping him self, "clap!!"

also can you tell me where did you or how did you make good pixel art like character and other thing because I don't know anything about pixel + 2d vector + 3d art and that a problem for game developer

Developer

Sure! I use Pixelorama for my art, it's free on itch.io: https://orama-interactive.itch.io/pixelorama

If you'd like something simpler I also used Piskel before this!

Now as for how I made the art, I don't really consider myself to be *good* at art yet, For drawing a lot of things I searched google images for references with things I had trouble drawing (either other pixel art or real life photos), of course  you shouldn't copy references as is, I just look at how they do certain details and draw ideas from that to improve the sprite. Now I suggest you follow actual Youtube tutorials or something because most of the time I don't really know what I'm doing when drawing 😭

Submitted(+1)

Thanks for that! Pixelorama was not my favorite but now I feel like it's clean than before.

Okay, so. On the last room, I searched every object before coming back to the phone to try to get a clue from N°13. The lightbulb moment I got when reading the text displayed by the phone was the perfect way to end the game!

The puzzles themselves aren't mostly fleshed out (except for the mirror and Room 13 ones, that I loved), but the story and the small moments (the math test without 0 or the fourth wall break for instance) really kept me in the game!

The only two advices I would like to offer:

  • The lamp was teased all game, but I could never turn it off. I'm sure it's because of time constraints, that I understand perfectly, but still, I wanted toooooo... :c
  • When you have an action that needs to be repeated a lot (the coins in the couch), you should change the dialogue every time the player interacts with the item. Then, they'll be encouraged to keep trying! For instance:
    • Oh a coin!
    • I already searched the couch.
    • No, I really can't find any more coins here.
    • Have I searched under this cushion? Hm, nothing.
    • Am I stubborn? No, there must be more!
    • Still nothing. I don't know what I expected.
    • (Add as many as you want)
    • OH! 9999 coins!

But apart from that, you did a great job, even with limited time for the puzzles! It's not the best submission I played this Jam, but it has a special place in my heart, well done! =D

Developer(+1)

Appreciate the feedback a lot!! Yeah the puzzle at room 3 DEFINITELY needs some tweaks, and YESS I really wanted to turn off the lamp at some point but I could never figure out any interesting puzzle that would involve the room being dark 😭

Thanks a lot for your input again!!

Was never interested in games like this. I don't know why but this grabbed me. Very interesting and fun

Submitted(+1)

Probably my favorite game from the jam :)

Submitted(+1)

There were some pretty fun puzzles in here! I liked the narrative and the breaking the fourth wall. Some of the puzzles were a bit unintuitive though

Submitted(+1)

Woah, this game was a gem! Loved the ending as well, so cool! The art style was very nice and the dialogue was funny and well written. I really enjoyed playing this one :D How did you have time to make this.. (crying cause I didn't finish mine :D)

This is really nice! I love the music, it has a Mother-like vibe, really cool

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot. Mother 3 is one of my favorite games so this means a lot to me!!

Submitted(+1)

This was cleeeeeeeean. One of the most polished games in the jam. Great job 👏

Submitted(+1)

One of the best games in this jam! Cool!

Submitted(+1)

Easily the best game ive seen on this jam yet, really fun and funny!

I love anomaly games so this was right up my alley! Fun puzzles, I found the constant dialogue a little tiring until I figured out I can just press Z to make it go a lot faster, that helped me out a lot. I love that you didn't take it super seriously and added a lot of humour to the puzzles! Great job, loved this submission.

I laughed out loud a couple of times, i thought you actually fucked up not putting a zero on the numpad xD. Love it when games are self aware like that!

Submitted(+1)

nice art, nice puzzels, music got annying after a while

Submitted(+1)

In room 13, I knew that I was about calling but I tried 14. 15 and 11, 12, because those were the rooms skipped and the following rooms, almost got it without reading the help that you provided!  Nice game!! It would be great if you could play and rate mine!

Loooved it, even when puzzles were a joke on the gameplay. Had a bug on level 10 tho, when interacting with the door I walked backwards from the oposite door, glitched through the closed door wall to never return :(
