Honestly, amazing game! I really love the art and sounds you used. The game was a bit too challenging, so some ways you could improve this is by adding an actual tutorial and not just giving the player 5 seconds to read the background. Apart from this, great game, I hope to see more from you in the future!

Welcome to the game we all used to play and love, Hot Potato. This game is a recreation of the original made in just 96 hours for the GMTK game jam of 2026. The theme was "Countdown"; the way I implemented this was through a 1 minute countdown for each level until the potato explodes and by each level taking you more back in time.
How To Play 🎮

Interesting concept, this game is great! I had loads of fun playing against the bots! Some things that could be improved on is the UI: It's blurry (Switch stretch viewport to stretch canvas_items) and doesn't really have a theme to it. Also, the mouse tracking was a bit weird for me to interact with the poles.
This game is amazing! I really liked the aesthetic of old windows and the mechanics were great! The only bad thing is that there were no SFX or Music when I was playing the game. Also, like what LostLibrarian said, you should implement a fast-forwarding system to make the game less boring! Well done!
Congrats! Making a game like this on your first ever game jam is great! I really had a lot of fun playing it! Keep on going ! To improve and to become a better game dev, I think you should be focusing a bit more on sound design: the music and Sound Effects (SFX). The mechanics on the game was great, although I did find a loop hole like the one below. Great job!
This game was very fun. I really enjoyed connecting all the wires with the plugs to complete the level. To improve this game, I think you should add a more interactive tutorial to help the user understand the controls without having to see the description. You could definitely add some more SFX and graphics settings to improve UX. Anyways, that's it was from, great game, good job! (Make full screen work btw)
