At first I thought I got stuck too but decided to play out the ending, and was pleasantly surprised when the landscape reset! I think this should be mentioned in the description in case people were thinking they got stuck and gave up! Also I think having a mechanic to break down buildings would be nice as well as sometimes I would accidentally use up all my mountains on stone when I wanted to switch to another resource so I'd have to wait another round to be able to do anything. Overall very fun!

Glad you had fun! We’ll update the description, thanks for the feedback :)

Very addictive game! I did encounter a problem where a tree spawned on top of a destroyed catapult.

Developer

thanks for letting us know

Hi there, cool game, great job. I think I got stuck? All my forests and mountains I places for woodcutters and stone mines. There was no room left for other mining buildings. I was expecting more of a map would show up :D. This is a simple yet solid idea of tower defense/city building. I liked it, I am just a sucker for wanting to create a huge city and everything. I am vibing with the visuals, especially the gradient of day and night on the top.

Thank you for playing :)

This was intentional! Each loop affects the next one, you’ll have to use several to get to the end of the tech tree

Really cool game! The space and resource management is well done! A fleshed-out version could be very interesting! Great job!

A very solid premise that you can easily get lost in! The resource and space management was harsh but not completely unforgiving and all the art and audio assets worked very cohesively together to give it that retro-strategy style! I would love to see this developed further as I had a lot of fun with it, great work! :D

Developer

it feels good that u liked the game 😹

Yup resource management and space management was harsh we are working on that

This took me a good bit to finish, in part because the terrain generation was so brutal. Not being able to select which tiles you're drawing resources from is a real killer. I think the loop idea is very solid and the resource management concept is definitely worth pursuing. I had a good time and the atmosphere was really striking. IT's a neat combination of Dwarf Fortress and a tower defense, though I feel it being less random and more challenging vis a vis the enemies it would have been stronger.

When I won, the 1,000 year jump button also did not work.

Thanks for your feedback

We are happy that you enjoyed and liked the game  , We are planning to keep working on this and make it what we wanted it to be!

And yeah we will fix the forest and mountain generation + make enemies stronger

Really fun game game. Love the concept and there is real depth in it. I almost defeated the boss but they destroyed all my gold buildings and it reminded me that money maybe important in life.

Developer

MONEY is all we need ahahaha

Was fun and had depth to the gameplay/choices that I enjoyed. Is there any way to beat the giant monster that comes at the end or are you supposed to always loose to it.  I like the salvage mechanic that has you restarting in the future with more stuff. Would be cool to get some indication that if you had enough stuff built up you could kill that monster otherwise I'm not sure what the goal is after a couple cycles.

It makes me happy that you enjoyed

The boss can be killed only with cannons

It is supposed to be like that u loose few starting runs

Very fun! Excellent execution on a loop-based city builder/resource management game. Would absolutely play a more developed version of this.

Had fun playing the game! Thank you! Didn't figure out how to delete a building though - but it made it all funnier to play🙈

So Glad that u had fun playing the game

Buildings can't removed unless they are destroyed and if destroyed u have a chance to get half the resources used to build the building in next round
