How does your game fit the theme?
In my game, you guide trains around in a railyard that is in the form of a loop, with one in and one out direction. In addition, I based the artwork off of the Chicago L, whose downtown portion is known as "The Loop"

This game keeps you busy.  The further you go the more you have to watch.  I love the art style.  The little train graphics remind me of the first sim city.  Its really cool.  Well done!

Fun and the controls/UI feels responsive and polished! It gets very hard to keep the chaos contained, I only managed the first three or four yards.

The game starting before you have chance to read what to do is a bit mean.

Fun game! :D

Technically, everything seems to work well, except for the zoom-out problem, but I hope you can fix that! :)

The gameplay loop is solid and well established!

Maybe the tutorial is a little too wordy, and you can complete it even without repairing a train.

This was a problem for me because I didn’t fully read the instructions while experimenting with the game, and then in the next level, I didn’t know you could stop the trains by clicking on them!

Hard lesson to learn: players don’t read! xD

Developer

thanks, I just fixed the zoom out problem, and will update it post Jam. I will probably edit down the tutorial text a bit, and I also hard coded the trains for the tutorial so they are deterministic. (I already had this system in for both the level 1 and level 2, I just didn't think to extend it), just a question for feedback, which level of the ones you played was the hardest? I was unsure if the 4th or the 5th was harder.

Nice!

For me, the level progression felt just right! :D

I liked the fact that the last level isn’t just scaled by the number of junctions, but rather by the number/frequency (I don’t remember exactly) of intersections!

That was perfect, because when I first entered the last level, I thought, “Huh! This seems easy!”, and then I got completely crushed by it! xD

Therefore, in my opinion, swapping those two levels would make the final level more intimidating than the previous one, which could increase the chance of players giving up on the game!

The end of level screen is hilarious. Nice game, I had fun. Would have been better if it was more zoomed in and with a fullscreen button.

yeah, Im kind of a noob with camera's in godot, and I constantly get issues of screen scaling. I thought because it was a web build and I said the resolution specifically in itch, that it would just stay that, and it looked fine on my moniter, but I was met with shock when I saw it on a laptop and it was zoomed out past where the level borders are meant to go, killing some of the effect.

What a silly game! I got a laugh out of the level complete screen being the train with a thumbs up lol. I got a little jumpscared by the crash noise at the game over screen, but the other sounds complimented the game well. Great interpretation and execution of the theme!

Great game, just polish the art work and good to go for launch

Funny game and loved the game over screen!

Really cool game, it's easy to understand but quickly  gets very hard to manage! I also ended up crashing a lot of poor trains.

Fun game even though I was very bad at it 😂

Had a bunch of fun, I crashed a lot of trains

A well-rounded game. Gameplay very intuitive and the moving sound of a locomotive is always smoothing. However the level-failed sound effect almost made my ear explode.

Developer

Im glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback, I realize it is a bit loud compared to the rest of the game sounds. I will fix it post jam
