How does your game fit the theme?
Based on the Greek/Roman Myth of Sisyphus, who is a stuck repeating the same task forever—pushing a boulder up a mountain. Each time he gets close to the top, the boulder rolls back down, and he has to start again. Plus, the boulder rolls :)))

Walking on the stone was a bit counter-intuitive at first but weirdly satisfying, that’s now my favorite mode of transportation!

I had to cut my run short because the first encounter with the lava geysers threw me and the boulder off-screen, and I guess I’m falling for eternity now (an out-of-bounds kill zone or a restart button would have been helpful here). But I’ll come back later, I want to see what more there is to this game, good work!

Thx for playing. The restart button exists, it’s in the description.

Though it's a bit hard to control. This is a good take on the theme and it's really fun to play.

thxxx! You too as well!

Great game. That game has very fun and beautiful art style. Awesome!

Great use of the theme! think the game could use a bit more juice. However, overall, it is a nice, fun experience.

Can not get to the end stuck in the level where I need to jump with the rock.  :(  But I really like it :)

Developer

you don’t have to jump with the rock! You leave the rock go to the other side & use the lava geyser (when it’s off) to cross the pit! It’s a small puzzle.

Of all the games I've played so far, this one fit the theme the best. The gameplay is good, the characters are good, the sounds are good. It's truly a masterpiece. I give them all 5 stars.

Really liked the physics to this one, the progressing challenges was really neat too! The art style is super cute as well, good game!

Liked the ways you could manipulate the boulder. Having the levels progress with new challenges had a fun flow to it. Also, going on the boulder and started rolling with it was a fun surprise.

Developer

Thxxx took me time to code it. Your game is also a fun surprise! It's such an interesting way to abord the theme. Nice submission!

Cool little game. Funny ending and  fun levels. Solid!

Solid entry! I did get soft locked on the 4th level (with the geysers) when the boulder and Sisyphus were pushed off the left side of the screen. Otherwise, really nice mechanic with running on top of the boulder.

The artstyle is really nice great job!

I really enjoyed your game as well!

I really feel the LOOP mechanic (since I HAD TO RETRY TONS OF TIMES EACH LEVEL xD)

Well done !

I really liked your physics based level design. The walking in the opposite direction while standing on top of the boulder is also such a creative mechanic I don't think I've seen before. Also great job on the final cutscene.

Developer(+1)

yes the cinematic was quite tricky to handle! Your game's graphics are as well really cool!

Clever take on the theme, I enjoyed these puzzles a lot and the ending made me chuckle - I should have seen it coming! My guy Sisyphus can jump!

For constructive feedback, I'd work on your characters movement as the physics felt a bit janky at times. I know a Youtuber with some great videos about character movement 😉

I hope that you guys like my game!!!  It's my first game jam!
