Couldn't find the tile, but cool concept!

Nice visuals :D At few points it seemed that I found the red tile but could win? Anyway, nice entry, definately loopy!

I feel like I'm missing something here. I moved my mouse all across the screen and nothing about the audio changed.

i swear to god, guess i am TERRIBLE at these games :( but hey the main objective was achieved :D I couldn't find the tile, however I did enjoyed the concept and your take on the jam theme :)

I get hypnotizing!  but i'm not sure if this match the theme :/

neat, I couldn't find the tile :(

Great job

Developer

thanks for trying! The audio radar definitely needs work to make finding the tile clearer. Appreciate you giving it a shot though! 🙏

Pretty hypnotizing experience. Could be cool with just a little more feedback back on whether or not you're close to finding the tile and some other color schemes for the different levels

Developer

Thanks! Yeah definitely need better feedback for finding the tile, that's the main thing to fix. Love the idea about different color schemes for levels too, would make it way more replayable!

xD the way I now need to blink in the distance to shake off the visual warping. Nice take.

Developer(+1)

Haha yes! The lingering visual effect is part of the experience. Glad it got you! 👁️

left me all warped, fun

I found the red tile! This is definitely the weirdest entry I've tried so far and I really really love it for that. Most games lean so hard on visual cues that it was really strange to rely on the other senses. Trying to feel out the invisible tile while the hypnotic imagery takes up your whole field of view puts you into a kind of trance like state that was a very cool experience to get out of a game. Great entry, thank you for making it!

Developer

Thank you so much! That's exactly the experience I was hoping for. The fact that you found it strange but loved it is the best compliment possible! Thanks for playing and for the thoughtful comment!

Bit confusing in all honesty, but I like the concept and visuals, I don't think the audio helped much, would be nice if there was some sort of visual indicator as well as audio, but it's a neat concept.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  Yeah, it's definitely meant to be confusing and disorienting - that's part of the illusion effect. I hear you on the audio cues being tricky to follow and they difintetly need enhancing and fixing. Really appreciate you giving it a shot and liking the concept!

Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing tbh

Developer

Hey! It's definitely an abstract one. The goal is to move your mouse to rotate the eye, then listen for audio cues to find a hidden red tile disguised as a white/black tile. When you get close to the right spot, the beeping gets faster. Find the exact angle, hold steady for 1.5 seconds, then press spacebar to win. It's more of a sensory puzzle than traditional gameplay - thanks for trying it out!

I tried for about 10 minutes and read all the instructions and could not figure out what I was meant to be doing. I only heard the same slow beeping throughout the whole time

Developer

The beeping should get much faster when you're close to the hidden tile. Sorry about that and definitely needs fixing. Thanks for the patience and for trying it out!

Trippy concept, very unique take on the theme!

Developer

Thank you! Really wanted to try something different with the game. Appreciate you checking it out!
