The idea to make a game about The Little Prince for this jam is honestly super cute, and very creative as well. I really like it. The art style is the same way; it's very simple, but it works really well and just gives the game a nice, adorable vibe. I feel like the gameplay could use some work, though. For instance, you can only hold either the watering can or the hoe, and you find the hoe lying on the ground before the well. That means you can't keep the hoe after you go past the well because you need to be holding the watering can in order to refill it, and so you can never get rid of the baobab sprouts on that side of the planet. This is the biggest example, but it goes to show that the gameplay loop of this game could use some tinkering and expanding if you'd like to make it more engaging and longer lasting. Still, the jam was only four days, so if you don't plan on revisiting this game in the future, these gameplay mishaps are absolutely understandable. Besides, I really appreciated this game and the ideas behind it, so I'm happy you made it for this jam nonetheless!

This is a very cute little game! I really like the art and the presentation in general. From the thumbnail I can see you may have had many more mechanics in mind, which I think this game could have benefitted from a lot.

The controls could have been refined a bit as well, it was tough for me to click on the correct object because they are very small compared to the whole screen.

Overall though you did a great job and I'd be interested to see a more polished version!

sorry, i am only now revisiting itch.io. we had a LOT mechanics in mind, but we had no time to realize them. like, baobabs were made in the last 2 hours. we have not had any issues with controls. do you have high dpi monitor? we have not tested our game on big screens. i wanted to create more polished version, but most of our team have decided that it is enough for them. maybe someday we will make better version.

Bringing one of my favorite books to life - well done! Some animations on the actions would have really helped, but I realize that there is only some much that can be done during a jam

Reallu loved the artstyle. Took some time to get used to the controls but,  really nice one. LOVED everything about it. would appreciate an effort if you could look into my game too.

Nice graphics. A lot of things you put into one jam game - impressed!

I was struggling with the controls. Clicking and clicking again did not feel intuitive to me for movement.

Very cute and cozy game, maybe making the baobab grow a little slower but making them more impactful could be cool :) Some feedback when interacting with objects would be great, but good job overall !

Very cute game! But I found the baobab mechanic not really stopping me from watering the rose, even if I let them all grew. If you want to keep  developing the idea in the future, might be worth looking at it :) Great job :D
