Cool concept congrats

PS: When doing a jam, limit your aspect ratio to 16:9 unless you know how to handle larger screens otheriwse the UI becomes invisible. I’m using a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor

Pretty fun little tower defence game. very polished :)

I love this game, I am surprised when the tower can be dragged around the track, GOOD JOB!

非常好的点子,建议增加一个自动运动的炮塔,可以减少操作量,这样可以做多条轨道也不会让玩家一直疲于操作,以及弩炮有些弱了。

如果可以的话,欢迎试一试我的游戏

Very nice idea, and i like the concept of movable turrets on rails, I just wish it wasn't was janky as it is. If i could seamlessly move my turrets without them locking up further along the track, i can see this being tons of fun, micromanaging your turrets so that none of them are idle. I like the idea of the ballista, but i just feel like it isn't strong enough to warrant the effort it takes compared to just adding another cannon turret. The pixel art itself is great, but inconsistent, you can tell that it either wasn't made for this, or it wasn't coordinated properly so now it's all over the place.

Fun game, I like the concept of moving turrets around to get the best angle on the monsters. The pixel art is pretty good but a little tip I learnt is to make sure all pixels on the screen are the same size, it makes the art look more cohesive and appealing. All in all very good submission, well done!

轨道的设计挺有趣,最后多个射击单位一起运作还是比较爽的,不过轨道上的单位移动起来不够丝滑,之后可能需要优化。

I like the design of this movable rail turret! The art of steampunk is great, and the overall style is impressive!

I LOVE the gimmick of moving your towers on a railroad track, it's very unique and creative. The game is pretty fun, though it usually ends with you spamming the regular turret / the "shell" turret because the other towers are way weaker in comparison and the perks don't really change anything significant. Couldn't beat level 3, but i still had a blast playing. The sprite-work, animations, and text need some work though - only the towers really felt consistent

Yeah, we identified several weaknesses in advanced defense towers. For example, the archery tower's limited shooting range made it difficult to maneuver effectively. Additionally, to reduce gameplay difficulty, we implemented fewer monster waves, which significantly reduced opportunities for players to use enhancement cards. Our team will address these issues in the future, thanks for your experience.

Fantastic main menu screen! I like the "military" quality to the music, fits the game vibe.

Also agree with callunagames, some additional info on enemy and tower types would be helpful

Hi there. (:

Really nice game you've created! I like the approach of having the towers on a track and being able to move them into the danger zone. :D The only issue is that I managed to beat every level by only building cannon towers. Some additional remarks:

  • I would have liked to read the manual during the game, not only from the main menu.

  • I was missing some descriptions of the tower types—or at least I couldn’t find them.

  • The same goes for the different enemy types; I wanted to see what made them different.

  • I really like the key art! (:

Thanks for your experience. We are considering making the tutorial content into a new level with high interactivity in the future. In addition, we will add more text to describe various towers and monsters, which will help players better understand the gameplay of tower defense and rouge like cards.
