Wow, I was expecting an incremental game with the setup but in reality it's a really interesting puzzle game about working out how to get the next upgrade and how that changes the way you interact with the level. And as well as being a brilliant idea this is also super well made, I can't believe you've even made a custom godot splash screen lol. Definitely one of the best games I've played this jam!
Cool game, the concept is cool and I like the progression of upgrading your tools and harvesting bigger and bigger things. One nitpick though is that the durability doesn't really add anything to the game except dragging it out since you just walk back and buy another tool. Overall though, good submission!
I'm glad you liked it, I appreciate all the kind words :)
I like Love2D a lot so I would recommend it if you're interested, I learnt it by following a tutorial online called "Game Programming Basics in Lua and Love2D" by Brook Miles and also if you own Balatro you can change balatro.exe to balatro.zip and then open it and look at all the source code which is quite useful for seeing what a proper, big Love2D game looks like.
