How does your game fit the theme?
It's the circle of life. Weekend comes and you head to the mall to relax and do some shopping. Before you can enjoy yourself though, you have to overcome a challenge as old as time: Waiting for the elevators! But here's the secret: there's a person controlling them all along! Play as the Elevator Operator and move the customers, complete their loops with the elevator controller to earn as much money as you can.

Simple, but addictive. Really nice job. The graphics are polished and clear. I'd love to see what else you could do with this concept.
Thank you for the kind words! I appreciate the GMTK game jam community a lot with their valuable feedback, so I have some good ideas where I can take it. I'm glad you had fun!
Hey, anytime, man. Thanks for checking out our game as well. You made it right before the deadline haha.
Nice game, simple but effective concept! It would be cool if money could be used to improve thing, open shops etc. Keep it up!
Thanks for playing! Your suggestion is also a very popular one, so I'll be sure to look into that.
Interesting take on the theme!
The first level was a bit long.
Audio was on point!
Nice to see that you made a postmortem!
Thank you for playing! I agree that the first level was a bit too simple for the length, will be working to adjust that.
Interesting that you mentioned the postmortem. I always try to write one right after the submission ended so I can sort of record my feelings and just reminds myself of what I can do better. Are you writing one too?
Haven't thought about it! I might!
But I always appreciate when someone shares their knowledge <3 so thank you!
This is a fun and engaging game! I think the visuals and audio work really well together too. Really enjoyable!
Thanks for playing!
Super cool game! I really liked the art style and the simple but fun elevator mechanic! Well made 👏
Thanks for playing!
I really loved the game! It reminds me a lot of the game I used to play in my childhood called "Alışveriş Caddesi." The art style is fantastic and fits perfectly with the overall vibe. Combined with the music, it creates a wonderful atmosphere. Great job , congratulations!
Thank you for playing the game! I tried to search for the game you mentioned but I couldn't find it. Thank you for your kind words and I'm really glad that you enjoyed it.
I guess there are some ideas that didn’t make the cut. There is an empty panel on the right side, I hope there was something interesting there. Also, money, let us invest it in more speed, capacity or something.
I wouldn’t know what a win condition would be for such a game. I find that often when I can’t answer that question the answer is just “to beat other players’ scores”, you just need to add a leaderboard. Since you are using Godot, this one is free: https://silentwolf.com/
Thank you for the suggestions, all valuable feedback!
The leaderboard plugin is interesting, I will take a look and make future projects have more objectives to play towards.
Game is really fun!! idk how it applies to loop theme that much ibr. But decent game either way.
Thanks for playing. Yeah I didn’t spend too much time brainstorming ideas, I just went straight to implementation, haha. But yeah, I thought having the customers completing a “loop” entering, shopping and then exiting is good enough of a theme integration.
Very unique concept! I don't think I've seen a game about being an elevator operator before. However, the game needs more challenge as currently the gameplay only consists of pressing two buttons repeatedly.
If possible, please consider rating my game.
Hey thanks for playing. Yeah it’s not very challenging right now, but I suppose it could be a chill game concept (which wasn’t even my intention but now I’m kinda more open to it).
Thanks for playing!
Fills me with joy when I see the Godot logo, trully.
I was about to complain that theres no tutorial, but the game is literally called elevator operator and theres 2 buttons “1f” and “2f”, it was really easy to play honestly, so no need for tutorial I think.
The game is somehow super fun and satisfying, the sfx is very pleasing aswell, it feels good to pump as many dudes in the elevator as possible, seeking the perfect optimization. I was NOT expecting to like so much a game about controlling an elevator. Good job!
Oh thank you for the kind words! I’m very happy you had fun with my game.
I’m glad it wasn’t much trouble figuring out the controls. I actually feel pretty bad for not including a tutorial in the game, since I thought there’s a lot of rules that should be explained, but I guess in the end in didn’t matter too much.
Very cute idea. I actually found myself playing it quite a bit. I am only sad that there isn't more of this. Like upgrades or tbh even implementing sth like clicking on the keyboard on the number corresponding to the elevator floor instead of clicking.
Hey thanks for playing! I’m pleasantly surprised to hear that was how you feel about my game, thank you very much. Like most entries there’s just a lot of things that didn’t make the cut, but I definitely can update it to be better.
I also actually did plan to have keyboard shortcuts from the very beginning, but that was also not part of the MVP, so I didn’t get to it either.
Simple, but fun (and a little stressful). Would have been nice to have a bit more progressin in some way, or some more challenge overall, but for a game jam this is really solid!
Thank you for playing my game! I know I gave some critiques in my comments on your entry, but I do think it's already loads more polished than my own entry, so I appreciate it that you found my game somewhat fun.
And yeah, I will work on some updates for this game after the jam too.
the visual is really well done, I just hope there're more purpose for the money you get after the levels!
Thank you for playing! Yeah I agree I didn't put too many other "gamey" elements into it. I will work on it for sure.
Oh, another Godot game! Cool! There were loads of them at this jam! It's a pleasure! :D
Otherwise, it's very neat and visually super cute! Impressive even! There's a certain satisfaction in getting so many little characters into the elevator to take them where they need to be. Really cool!
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you found it interesting.
I'm going to try yours as well. Did you also use Godot as your game engine?
It's a nicely done sequencer, but I didn't got the looping feel honesly, wanted to be challenged a bit more.
Thank you for playing. I do agree with you the theme interpretation was weak, I didn't spend that much time ideating. It was my intention to make the game more about optimizing your elevator movement, but it turns out to be just a bit like an idle game. Either way I will do some work to update the game after the jam incorporating all the feedback.
Awesome, gonna keep my eye out for it!
Nice little game! Simple idea executed very well. First level is very simple and teaches you the mechanics, and the others build nicely upon that. Had a few cases of levitating people but nothing bad. Satisfying game, great job!
HI thanks for trying the game. It's interesting to hear that you're one of the first people who is reporting a bug like that. I would greatly appreciate if you have time to help reproduce it, but thank you for your time either way.
Simple game that can get pretty hectic. It's really satisfying when you get a bunch of people in an elevator at once and send them to where they're meant to be. I can see what you mean by a couple of issues, though all I came across was the fact that the orange city background was not there. All the other art is really great though. Great game!
Thank you for trying it out!
It’s not a bug that the orange background is not there haha. The simple fact is just that it wasn’t included in the jam build. I made the page visuals and the other “promotional” materials after the jam deadline. I was just scrambling to wrap up everything until the end, and the background was not part of it. I guess you could say it’s a bit misleading, but I figured it’s fine for a jam game only anyway, so I will update the game after the jam.
Fair enough lol. You got your priorities right
MANN, it was intense. Loved the chaos and artstyle. FR. Would appreciate the effort if you could rate my game too.
Thank you for enjoying it!
This was more fun and gratifying than I anticipated!
Definitely see potential for this to be expanded upon with upgrades, automation, additional stores, floors, a.s.o.
Great job!
Hey thank you for playing. A lot of people are saying the same thing, so I think it's definitely could be a good feature I could look into designing as a full game. Thanks so much!
