This is nice. I like it. I once had a bug where no enemies spawned. All together, it’s a cool game :) I’d recommend adding a bit more weight and inertia to the rope when spinning up or slowing down.

Developer

I appreciate the feedback! Thank you for playing!

I've played several lasso games in this jam - but so far yours is the first that lets you use the enemy as a ranged weapon to splatter other enemies! Love that extra element.

Developer

Thank you so much!

Good concept, good game, good art. Well made! I softlocked myself by tying up all enemies, but after reading controls again I think that may have been my fault for not realising I could kick them..

Developer

Thank you for playing! You're right, there is a bit of soft lock potential which I plan on removing after the jam. I appreciate the feedback!

Awesome concept! Reminds me of those old flash games that I would spend hours and hours on :)

Developer

That's what I was going for! Thank you!

Very neat! It looks pretty good. I wish it was a bit faster paced with more upgrades more often, but I had a good time. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I agree, a faster pace seems to be the general consensus. I appreciate the feedback!

It only took a few seconds to figure out how to TIE 'EM UP and then use those tied up for an attack.  Nice gore and sound effects.  Cool game can you play mine too!

Developer

Thank you! I'll be sure to check your game out.

Cool game! Creative use of the theme. I loved the lasso catching and kicking mechanics. The artwork is well done, and there’s a lot of potential to expand on the lasso mechanics even further. Nice work!

Thanks so much!

Nice entry ! I had a lot of fun and was able to survive quite long.

The throw was kinda buggy for me, I wasn't able to consistently throw the lassoed enemies away.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'll see what I can do to make kicking more consistent. I appreciate the feedback!

The most creative idea I've seen so far, I love it!

Developer

I appreciate that, thank you for playing!

Submitted(+1)

The idea is really fun ! it lacks a bit of feedbacks, particles, shakecams :) but very cool

Developer

Thank you!

Wow you weren’t kidding about having the same lasso mechanic LOL

Your game has a greater variety of enemies, upgrade paths, and a roll vs. ours so great job on implementing those! We wanted a dodge as well but didn’t have the time haha

Developer

Great minds think alike lol! Thank you for playing!

really fun concept and mechanic!! tho i wish it was faster (player and foes)

Developer

Thank for playing! I agree, the game could use a faster pace.

Haha, this is fun, but man, those snippers!  Too bad you cannot punch them or something when you lasso all of them :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! You can kick lassoed enemies if you double click the left mouse button. Unfortunately, it doesn't do any damage to the lassoed enemies (it does to others though), but you can grab some of them after they escape and eliminate the others to progress. I plan to make wave progression more consistent in the future. I appreciate the feedback!

It's very fun ! good job ! Your art is very clean !

Developer

Thank you! @simi_draws could not have done a better job with the art :)

It's quite enjoyable to lasso people into a pulp :) Good game with unique mechanic.
