How does your game fit the theme?
The same map repeats in each cycle, it’s visually and spatially a loop. Enemies change with each cycle, adding variety while keeping the player in a familiar space. This creates a gameplay loop: fight > survive > repeat, which aligns perfectly with the theme.

The game is simple but fun. I also like the visual, it's very cute.
I like that the game added a narrative device to entice the player to keep moving forward through the repeats. I think a lot of devs, especially in this jam, kinda underestimated the value such an addition can have. Including me, while playing through this one I started thinking that I may have placed my narrative in the wrong location. As it would’ve likely been more effective were it to be delivered through each loop, as it is here, instead of just being in the menu. Though as has already been pointed out in the comments, the lack of any real conclusion does rather diminish some of the effect. Still I think it did its job of getting the player to want to go through the first two loops well.
hi, brother of the game name, I liked riding my opponents :) Seriously, try making this the mechanic of the next game
Fun and simple little game. Beat it my first try. Good work!
Thank you hutnerr, means a lot.
Nice art! The idea is pretty neat too! If you have a moment, we'd love for you to check out our team's project too. It's called "round-and-wound" , hope you enjoy it! --> /jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3780863
Thanks for playing the game, Sure I will check it out!!
Hey really like the game. Fun twist on the loop theme. I like the background art asset. I used the same ones (^_^)
Thanks for playing LoopBound. Yeah, the asset is really good.
The game is a lot of fun and easy to get into! The commentary added a great touch. Just a small heads-up there's a minor bug where you can stand on enemies and damage them without taking any hits.
Oops thanks for pointing it out, will try to fix that. Thanks for playing
THE POWER OF DETERMINATION! The commentary was very amusing, and the game had a great mix of platforming and combat! I was able to speedblitz the enemies though, so it could be a bit more refined
Thank you for the feedback, will work on it. Appreciate it
Loved the looping idea! The platforming was easy and you made it fun to loop around, i just think the colliders and enemy AI could use some work! Nice work!
Thank you cecilia. Means a lot.
Very charming game! Graphics are really neat, really well done for a first game! There is a lot of text on the screen though if you're looking for some constructive criticism! Combat could use some slight improvement (either variety or juicing)
Thank you for playing LoopBound!! Your feedback means a lot
A very fun platformer! The concept is pretty interesting. I’d say the combat needs a bit more variety. Overall though really fun game.
Thank you, Means a lot!! Will work on the combat logic.
I played #LoopBound 3 times, thought the 3rd would have a cool ending, but nope :) Still fun! Map loops, enemies get harder - keeps you hooked! :) Graphics are nice, music’s okay but needs more. Theme fits perfect. Awesome for a first game! More endings please! ^_^
Thank you for playing!!!, The first 2 days went away just learning godot, and I wanted to add an ending, but I had no time, and I underestimated sound design (I though it's left hands play, nope, it backfired me). But yeah, thanks for your feedback, will make it better in the next jam.
Keep trying and grow!
A fun and charming game! I liked the interpretation of loop
Thanks Buddy, this is my first game and first game jam. Means a lot :)
