Good game and interesting idea.
I like experimenting with ecosystem but I have some problem with "reading" what's happening.
Hard too understand when something was eaten or why plants died. Because of it it's hard to measure impact of your choice.
But as a prototype it's good

This is gorgeous, I love the theme here too. Big fan of how you've represented the plants, the pixel art is great.

As others have said, I'd have loved to have more context for how the stats related to one another and how each item would affect the ecosystem - I'm not sure I was 100% sure whether things were bugs or predators. I got a score of 65!

Great work on this game. I love the cosyness of it. It would be nice to have a bit more clarity on the impact each thing is happening in the enrivonment

Nice take on the game of life! Lovely art and the movement of the animals all really fit the vibe. Very well done!

I love finding unique game ideas in jams, this is one of them. The art is fantastic, great job! :)

Love the concept! It was interesting trying to balance out all the different plants and critters. A bit heartbreaking to watch them die one by one 🥺

An absolutely wonderful idea ! The graphs look really cute ! It is well balanced ! The only real drawback is the music. The loop is sadly way too short and chiptune is not the direction I would have chosen for this chill game.

Nice simulation! keep it up!

I would love your rating to my game!

Such a unique idea, love watching the little worlds evolve, looking forward to seeing you develop this more!

Great idea! I sometimes imagine whether a specific set of organisms could achieve an ecological cycle, especially back when I was preparing for biology competitions in high school. This game gives me a chance to simulate such scenarios. Good job!d(゚∀゚d)

YOOOOOOOOOO this is the most creative concept and games i played on this game jam so far! I also looooove the theme, the audio, the art is very charming too! well done friend!

This is the most unique take on the theme I've seen. I have a couple suggestions.

Maybe add a thin outline to some of the darker components to the terrarium (I was placing millipedes and didn't notice at first). The song also grew on me, but maybe have two or three in a loop or have a music select for longer sessions (I wanted to keep playing).

Overall, a super strong entry and probably in my top 5 from what I've played so far.

What a unique take, not only on the theme, but just on videogames as a whole! The music is annoying af, but the game is so fun you just ignore it! I have no idea what I was doing, but I had so much fun :p I just wish I could put 70 crabs in a tank, so if you ever update it, make that happen for me okay? :)

Ooh, this is my favourite take on the theme yet! With more time to develop this, I would love to play a full version! Really great work!

Really unique concept. amidst all the clone-puzzle-platformers, youre game was a breath of fresh air! Very pretty and cozy game. But music is a bit grading on the ears. Also just a suggestion to add a undo feature for your terrarium. Also maybe make all the organisms do different things specific to that organism andmaybe you could make a kill feed of some sort. Very Cool game.

Thank you for playing. I know the music is bad, this was my 2nd try writing one. Love these ideas, maybe I'll put them in.

Your entry is unique from anything else I have seen in the jam so far. Very cool idea.

As someone with a paludarium in their home, I understand how hard it can be to keep everything in balance. Great job on you game!

Really love this game idea! I had a similar one about designing terrariums. Super fun execution!

Nice game! It's a very interesting concept and I could see this being a fun automation game with expanded and more in-depth tutorial. At this stage it's sort of like I just put random things in and click play and don't really have a plan haha.

For me the music is a bit too loud. I'm also not sure why you can only put in one big animal (maybe it's a realism thing?). Additionally being able to remove things after you select them would be an important UX feature.

love love love this terrarium concept, i personally couldn't keep it alive, much like reality, but i really really love that this is how you interpreted the theme, and it reminded me of a friend i haven't seen in a while so that's really lovely, nice work <3
