Really fun game I ended up playing for awhile! Difficulty curve seemed a little odd though, it quickly went from every round being an easy pass to a sudden like -3000 increase in debt. Overall really great job
This game is my Balatro... I love trains, and roguelikes, and tile laying puzzles and you combined them all with some awesome graphics and audio to boot! The game is super polished, fun, and very charming! I'm not sure why I would want to destroy wagons though, and I feel as though cloning a wagon should carry across its stats to the new one. I can see a lot of potential with this game for further development with new wagon/station types, more elements in the tile laying puzzle such as obstacles or ways it can interact with the cards, who knows. I managed to get to round 33 before losing, and I WILL be going back and playing this again to try beat that score. This is so fun, Wonderful job!!!
The graphics are super pretty! I really like the gameplay loop too, although it was a bit on the easy side (once I got the drop off at every station). There is definitely a lot more potential in this idea with different carts, upgrades and challenges.
Very well made roguelite puzzler. Felt great building and watching the trains go. I didn't understand why I'd ever want to remove a wagon? And I was flush with cash mid-game (so balance issues, but that is expected in jams), but the experience otherwise is very fun and polished, well done!
Watching the moving train on my network was so satisfying ;)
Such an addicting and fun game to play! A great puzzle rougelite that I couldn't stop playing.
Nice game!
It’s interesting that it takes a roguelike approach instead of a traditional puzzle format.
So satisfying. I loved building this little network. And I loved to see the train running on it.
Made it to round 27.
Nice game! I didnt get how the mechanics worked at first but when I understood what was the game goal I had a lot of fun! Also the game's name is very good. Fantastic even.
Ran out of money after round 26 - so close! Was a really fun play, I do like trains :)
What is the difference between upgrade and increase capacity? I didn't get why I would want to get rid of wagons. And at some point I had a lot of spare cash but nothing to use it for. Would be nice to be able to buy more than tracks.
And one small nitpick on UX: The cards for the upgrade kept moving down when I tried to drag them. I managed, but it felt like they were trying to dodge me :D
Upgrade was planned to increase money from each resource, but I didn’t have time.
Thanks for the feedback!
