That's a nice concept ! Fun game :)
As an avid Shmup player, I really love the core mechanic of swapping between ships to pick up items.
I could see this idea being expanded upon and leading to a very fun game filled with tense movement decisions (what if, for example, each ship had a different weapon you had to adapt to when swapping to pick up items...)
As it stands out, the game is really fun and I had a good time discovering the abilities of each ship, I'm also impressed by the amount of content you've put in, even including a boss battle!
Nice graphics! Like how you can switch between 3 ships, idk if there was a tutorial that taught me this but I didnt know that you could only pick up power ups of your color oof. Great game though! :D
Oooooh, just played this for a couple minutes and couldn't figure out why I couldn't pick up certain powerups, lol. Thanks!

Yeah when you die it loop back to the beginning of the level but that part was rushed so the points aren't reset (not a feature, a bug 😋) and it may not be as clear as we wanted it to be!

The art, both visual and sound, is very good. It's a classic that's been played countless times, but that doesn't mean you'll stop playing. I finished it!!! ;)
Super fun switching ships. Found myself using the tank way more. Getting the powerups and them not being picked up was a little confusing.
This was a really fun game! Matching ships with the items of the respective color was a great idea, and the matching color lasers was as well. Also having all of them auto-shoot was a great touch that made the rest of the mechanics more manageable than they would have been otherwise. I could see this taken much farther, hope you keep working on it! Nice work!
