"Oi, this is a creepy game, innit? I was minding my own business until a giant pyramid or somethin' got me. I was like: Oi, wat the hell, mate". Sorry about that. Love the atmosphere of the game, and the retro 3D artwork, I had some problems with the camera but not anything major. There are a couple of bugs, but fun experience nonetheless!
Thank you for playing our game and enjoying the accent ;) The bugs will be resolved after the jam ends so be sure to come back and give it a go again then!
i think its a fun game! ignore my son in the pfp, havent changed it. Honestly i think my only complaint is that, when trying to turn the camera, the mouse sort of gets stuck on the border of the screen. Not really that big a deal tho since i know coding games is hard. great work!!
I love the visual aspect of the game. The sounds makes everything scary (especially the british voiceover) and I didn't expect the boat's horn to be this ominous.
Had a funny bug after skipping tutorial where the lighthouse turned into a christmas tree and my guy became nuts.
(Also does the stairs to the generator get longer or am I getting insane too ?)
Yes, stairs get longer after each bar of sanity deplstes (well actually, floor gets transported lower on the y axis :) ).
Thank you for playing and for the kind words, we will also definitely look into that bug!
love the visuals! i really liked the things i was seeing outside, but unfortunately there was a spot that the lever always got caught, and it's very hard to stay sane in this game. i would've played a bit more if the intro wasn't that long and the light turning was smoother, but i smiled at the bitcrushed tutorial and beautiful sprites
Thank you for playing our game! Unfortunately we were left with no time for playtesting so we shipped out a version that was at least playable as a few minute demo. We will definitely polish it up after the jam. Thanks for the feedback! :)
let me know when it's finished! i wanna play it. i'll also let you know if me and my friend end up finishing our game.
Hey, really nice game! I like the visuals and audio, especially the protagonist's hands. I accidently skipped the tutorial at the beginning by pressing "E" and reading afterwards that it read "Press "E" to skip the tutorial" so I had to restart XD
That aside, I'm not entirely sure what I'm supposed to do here. I kept spinning the light and a bar above my character, which I believed to be stamina because it decreased when I spinned or turned the generator, was constantly decreasing. Game just went black a few seconds after it completely depleted. Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong?
Anyways, the game has amazing potential but maybe needs a bit polishing in the communicating field. Keep up the good work, mate!
We had some troubles with building the game as HTML, and one of the bugs was all our cutscenes being black with just the audio in the background. We agree that mechanics could have been better explained upon and more refined but time was a big limit as well as bug fixing. In your instance it seems your character has lost all their sanity (well, who wouldnt being stranded in the middle of the ocean).
All in all, we appreciate the feedback and thank you for playing!
Ah, I see. Then I'd say my character simply closed his eyes to avoid the demons projected by his crazy mind
No problem, I'm glad I could provide some feedback!
Hi! Cool game! Lighthouses are a very attractive and interesting theme! Thank you for the opportunity to be a lighthouse keeper myself :D
Maybe subtitles is would've been great when there is a voice narration!
The feel is excellent, the gameplay itself not so much, i suspect mostly beause it isn't very clear how anything works. The lever constantly seizes up and i don't even know why. Is it because the lever is crusty and old? What do i do in that situation? Is it a bug? Is it an intended limitation? Either way i really enjoyed when [REDACTED].
Thank you so much for playing our game and commenting! Unfortunately we were left with a lot of bugs, but let's just say the lever is old and rusty ;) There are multiple mechanics going on: you have to keep the light on (using generators in the lighthouse), spin the lever so the boat doesn't crash and finally light up the enemies so you don't go insane. Maybe we'll fix it once the jam is over. Thanks again for playing :)
Love the crustiness, gameplay's not quite clicking for me though.
Fair enough, thank you for playing and rating our game :)
