Cool atmosphere! the bit at the end with the TV was genuinely unnerving and stressful. Like someone else said a crosshair for picking things up would help a lot. The bugs in the game aren't crazy but the problem is it makes it hard to know if im misunderstanding a puzzle or its just a bug, like for example I had to replay the game to beat the last part, so there was times when I picked up one of the objects to find the key under and the key had disappeared even though I know it should be there. With some polish the experience would be sick.

Thank you so much for your detailed critique!! We really appreciate the feedback!! We were struggling a lot with the physics but thats the fun of the game jam!! Struggle to improve!!

The web version would not run for me, perhaps I'll give the download a try... until then, please feel free to checkout my browser playable simple ole word search game!

For this, my first GMTK game jam submission, I opted for a word-search game that implements the LOOP theme.

Please give my word-search game a try, it's nothing too fancy but very playable.  Please try and rate if you can, just want to get it out there!

While the gameplay was too buggy for me, the atmosphere was impeccable.

Developer

Thank you for the compliment!! It helps us know we are getting certain parts right! For the bugs, we are aware of them and we are figuring out how to fix them for next time!!

The atmosphere you created really pulled me in. Overall, I had a great time. Also, the bugs didn’t really affect my gameplay, so no worries there. Great job!

Submitted

Unfortunately this game is seriously buggy.

Developer

I am really sorry to hear that!! Would you be able to tell us the issues with the game so that we can take a look at them?

On the second corridor, I wasn't able to interact with anything. I tried to interact with the bathroom mat and it slid through the wall. The key couldn't be picked up and none of the doors could be opened or closed. Unfortunately I couldn't work out how to progress.

does not really run well on the web, the mouse sensitivity was very strong, but otherwise cool ambiance, i like spooky stuff :))

Developer

Thanks glad you enjoyed the ambiance nonetheless! Unfortunately we didn't spend as much time on the web version as we should've but the PC version is working better if you're willing to give it another shot.

Sadly could not play because of mouse sensitivity :’(

Developer

I am honestly annoyed we didn't catch this during development and didn't have that much time to deal w it but we'll make sure to take care of it! Glad you tried playing it nonetheless!

does not work on web

Developer

Yeah ive been getting alot of different comments about the web version. It works for me on both my laptop and pc but for others it causes problems. Thank you for bringing this to our attention we'll be sure to find out why for next game jam :)

The vibe & the idea of the game is good, the mouse sensitivity was a bit high and the weirdly tiling textures were a bit bothersome to me. I enjoyed the interactivity & the start & quit animations were nice addition to the game.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game! The tiling and textures we supposed to be unsettling a bit but I agree w the mouse sensitivity part,

Great idea and I recommend you download it. Nice work in 4 days !

Developer

Thanks for trying it out and really glad you liked it!

Game is great, but the mouse sensitivity is too high, love the vibe too!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for trying it out and we're really glad you enjoyed the vibe!

Nice work developing the mood, I was sitting on the edge of my chair, thanks to the SFX and lighting. As some others have mentioned already, my mouse sense was really, really high too, which made it hard to move around. Overall, nice work though!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the lovely feedback! We'll make sure to work on those bugs and the controls once we're allowed to again when the voting period ends.

Cool vibes but on the web version I couldn't seem to interact with anything? The aesthetic is awesome tho!

Developer

Thanks for giving it a shot! The interaction bug was already known by us but it is still playable if you make the object touch the center of your screen. Glad you liked the aesthetic as well <3

I liked the setting and decorations, and the gameplay reminded me a bit of The Exit 8; sfx were good, but I think some ambience (or if there was any I didn't hear it) would help;   apart from that, tightening the controls would be a big improvement, as movement felt slow and clunky (maybe by design, but faster walk speed would be nice) and i often had to interact with an object several times before the input went through.

Developer

Thanks for trying the game out! I agree with what you've said regarding the controls movement needing some tightening and unfortunately we could not fix the interact bug in time since the object has to be right in the center of the screen for the input to go through but we'll be working on fixing that as well!

Concordia!!, nice work in 4 days!

Developer

Thanks you!

At least for the browser version, it seems like sounds don't work and the mouse sensitivity is tuned crazy high. I also got stuck at the point where you pick up a rug for some reason. Sorry!

The part with the eyeball and smiling paintings? for that one you have to match the paintings in the left room to the ones in the right

Developer

We're sorry about that! Unfortunately our main focus was the windows version and we didn't take as much time to debug the web version appropriately. Nonetheless we're glad you tried it out!
