How does your game fit the theme?
You must keep the other goblins "in the loop", so they know when to hide.

First game I've seen in this jam using the concept of "in the loop". Great execution! I love the sound effect of the goblin warning others.
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it! :)
I REALLY enjoy this concept and your execution of it. The mechanic of warning people doom is coming and having to stop misinformation from spreading is incredibly compelling and satisfying in a way that reminds me almost of the specific feeling you get from a culture victory in a Civilization game. I would love to see you polish this game up some more after the jam because it's got so much heart and potential. I'd have loved an in game tutorial, some background music, and a countdown timer / sound effect letting you know when doom approaches, so that you don't have to keep glancing at the graphic at the corner of the screen. I also think it would be nice for there to be more positive feedback to the player at the end of each loop to keep them motivated to keep going and keep saving their uninformed goblin friends.
I'm glad you like the concept and see the potential in it! I really appreciate the feedback you've given, I will let you know if I get round to polishing it up a bit. Thank you so much for playing! :)
cool idea, i dont know how i can hide myself though.
It really could do with a tutorial! Near the end of the timer (when the skull begins to open), the player will automatically hide behind objects as you walk past them. Thanks for giving it a go.
Ahh yes I got it!
Got myself killed cause I just spread the word and forgot to save myself. I guess those safety instructions on planes were correct.
I liked the simulation aspect of it.
Haha, thanks for playing! The game does continue even when the player dies, so you can watch it play out.
Yeah that's just what I did. Wondered for a little bit where my guy went and then realized and just sat back watching.
I'm not sure if I played it correctly, but I tried looking for a score or some kind of indicator like other people mentioned. I really like this genre and the interpretation of 'Loop' though. I felt like I was spreading out to expand my territory and fighting against other colors, which was really fun! I was hoping to see my own score but couldn't find it - but that's okay, I still enjoyed it. I'm satisfied with the experience.
Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The score is only displayed at the end of the seven rounds, something that I might update in the future.
I really like how you interpreted the theme! Great game
Thank you!
Very fun and polished game, I saved the village! Score: 134 :)
Thanks for playing, and nice score! :)
This is a really unique take on the theme! I like it.
