I think there is potential for an amazing game here. Genuinely the most interesting tower defense concept I've ever seen. However, rats dying feels unfulfilling, and running out feels really easy for a slow, painful, and inevitable death. It also makes the items that upgrade them feel meaningless. I would absolutely love to see this improved upon and fleshed out, though.

I liked those rat sounds =D

Very nicely polished little game. Love the juice in the card animations! Sound and artworks also look great. I maybe would have added a few more descriptive words to each card, but once you got what the cards do it was pretty intuitive to play.

Amazing art, and there's a surprising amount of strategy involved in the gameplay

Great idea with stunning visuals and a bop for music. Very nice juice!

Great art and music, as well as brilliant ideas. Very solid and impressive entry. The visual style is charming and the audio design really enhances the experience. The core tower defense mechanics work smoothly. My only concern is why making towers not permanent? It of course adds a new layer of gameplay by adding resource management to the game, but it feels not intuitive, since the game looks like tower defense on a train. Isn’t 4 mice equal to one permanent mouse, since it lasts the wave? Also feels that time as it is does not suit the game well relying on loops can be more simple to understand. Feels like i spend speed card on nothing, when i place it after train. But overall I’m a big fan of this game it’s engaging. Really great work!

I love the artwork and overall design! Reminds me a lot of loop hero but with more feeling participation

Cool art, cool audio. I feel it was a bit unbalanced because in some games zombies only came from one of the sides so half of the time the character was doing nothing. Another thing is that I didn't see an explanation of why the rats leave, or why the powerups were that short lived. Still great game, it has a good polish and great game feel.

It's a nice game but the player doesn't have a lot of agency as it is. Nice work nonetheless !

I like the rat-based gameplay, I feel like it's easy to run out of cards and lose immediately from that but otherwise this is great!

Very awesome stuff, kinda felt like the 90s (coming from a 20 year old) and was fun, art style was beautiful and the music was a bop. Also very challenging, lol

This game changed my life

awesome! the art is really cool and i love the idea of a tower defense but your towers are on a track. like someone else said it would be nice to know that the turrets are not persistent+have a lifespan indicator on them (or just make them persistent and make waves increased in difficulty). but aside from that it was still fun, great stuff!

Really solid entry! Very fun to play

Card designs were all nice, and I didn't feel like there were any that were too out-of-balance.

Would be nice as a simple phone game.

My main gripes were polish related, being able to just press on a card to activate it instead of dragging it out would be nice, and also something to show how close a card is to going away.

also please idiot proof it and make it clear that upgrades are not permanent so dummies like me don't immediately spend all their turrets at once.
