How does your game fit the theme?
We decided to go with a looping 2d platforming world as our basis, and itterated from there, adding all kinds of items to interact with that core idea of a looping gameworld.

(Optional) Please credit all assets you've used
I designed all tiles and sprites from the ground up, and recorded all sounds in the game myself.

I like that you literally play as a loop. The eyes are a nice touch.

Well done on your first game jam!

Here's a video of my playthrough, which contains my feedback. I play your game at 2:18:37

The concept of a level just loops and builds on itself is really creative and interesting. I'd love to see this idea taken further. My biggest feedback is just to give some kind of explanation in the game of how to use the items or what they do. Good job overall!

Love the concept! I did struggle a bit with how to use the spring - wasn't able to get any further.

I played a bit, couldn't figure how to get the spring.

I did not understand how the (1) button works as well, I'm so sorry :(

I like the jump audio and victory audio!

Love the custom sound effects. I did get a bit confused with the use of the items sometimes. Though the same could probably said for my game lol.

My brain hurts a little. I think even with puzzle Z, there wasn't really an easy way to understand what exactly my items were doing - I think it swaps the 2 rooms in front of you? I cannot say for certain. That said, I think every game should have the developer voice their own sound effects, big fan of that.

You are on the money on what item 1 does, so you got it!

Glad you like the sound effects! It was fun to make them, even if some were very difficult, as I am not experienced with sounds.

I love the cartoon-style character, fits in with the game really well.  And the SFX are rich too and fit in well.  Nice job!

Thank you! Glad you liked it!
