Very cool mind bending puzzle, definitelly on the more creative side compared to other similar "screen looping" games. I actually love the box gravity mechanic, it's really cool and clever, but unfortunately I feel it's not quite introduced properly. Designing a whole puzzle around the box weighting you down probably would have helped, as then you would have a clue that item weight actually matters. The first time you're meant to use the reversed gravity box it's sort of thrown out there without much of a clue. That being said though, once you do figure it out, it leans into some really cool applications. Otherwise game looks very clean and is very fun to play!
In my mind the "whole puzzle about the introduction of the jump height mechanic" was what level 6 was meant to be, but I figured I'd add a couple additional steps to get the box upside down (since they were steps you basically had to do in level 5 as well), but I guess I fell victim to the creator finding their game easier than the players problem, and underestimated the complexity that level 6 ended up adding to the discovery of the jump height mechanic.
Happens to the best of us. Not really a colossal issue to my eyes since playtesting would've caught that anyway and it would've ended up addressed one way or another.
really good execution on the looping platformer idea. very good level design
Genius. Just genius. No other notes.
I don't think I can compare, but I hope you try out and rate my attempt at a puzzle platformer too!
Simple but amazing
Really cool and intresting puzzle game. Do wish there was a way to tell the boxes gravity to help it.

Yeah I agree, and I'll definitely add some sort of indication of which way a held box's gravity goes if I continue working on this game afterward.
Really nice puzzle design and progression, super enjoyable game. Well done!
nice art and coll idea this make a lot of fun to play
Love the art, nice twist on a screen loop used creatively!
Good idea, nice exceution. Liked the art style!
Thanks! I myself am not very artistic; this is what the game used to look like! Thankfully my friend came in and basically reskinned the whole game and now it looks much better :)
Really like this idea and stands out because of the twist. Great submission overall and I want more levels after the jam ;) !
This is a fun puzzle game. I got stuck on level 5 (I think). I'm pretty sure I'm missing something about how the mechanics work. Regardless, this is a fun game, and I think it has potential for further development.
I'm glad you like the game :). Hopefully you decide to take another shot at the remaining levels, the 8th one is my favorite.
Sweet submission! Really enjoyed the concept and would love to see it fleshed out even more. Some music could go a long way here but I had a great time
Wow, correct mathematics! But why is the texture of the box not flipped? The puzzles are great. You should add music.
I had thought that I did implement the texture flipping? Unless I'm misinterpreting what you're talking about. Also, it's cool how we ended up with similar game ideas!
The puzzles we're great, the artwork was good, and the audio was fun!
These were some really fun puzzles. I loved figuring them out. The final one in particular took a while but I enjoyed figuring it out. Good job!
Really cool puzzle, Had to think a bit on some of the levels. Great work :)
Great idea! Amazing level design and really clever puzzles!
i liked the puzzles, even if i got stuck for embarassingly long on some of them 😭. great job!
I like the Puzzle game and very cool ideas, but actually I stuck on level 6 for a long time and I just realized that you can jump higher if the box's gravity is inverted. So I am quicky solved the remaining level. I think in some level can have some better guide on this mechanics.
Overall, the idea is good and nice game!
Okay so, I got really stuck on level 5 (didn't play further yet). I thought the game was bugged when I sometimes could reach the button by jumping and sometimes not, and then the box falling down, and I got softlocked there after getting crushed by the closing door too after trying to jump through.
After like 5 min of running around, I had the box drop up, which I thought that it was a bug that it didn't do that before. But quickly after that I understood the puzzle, and I think it's really great. But! The game is missing an introduction to the box gravity mechanic. Like, a level where that is the only thing, and is required. Because level 5 had more than that and as such it's not obvious to experiment with the box as it looks basically the same no matter which way its gravity is when held. One could use their brain to figure out the box acts like it does though, except that games work with game logic so it's not as obvious, even though it is obvious after realizing it in this case.
Edit: Played the rest of the game now, and honestly, the puzzles where really good. They weren't overwhelming at all, and seemed simple but took brainpower to solve, so really good!
Yeahh it's really easy to underestimate the difficulty of a level as the creator, I'm glad you liked the game! If I continue working on it I'll definitely try to introduce the mechanics more intuitively.
