You are not the first giving me this feedback, 

I'm already looking at getting swipe controls working but yeah some parts of the code base definitely need some refactoring before a full release that would contain waaaaay more levels

Great game, super cool take on snake. The level design was good and I love the chain apple eating mechanic you introduce in level 10. You've got me wanting more levels! GG

I'll consider that a challenge I'm willing to take up... Once I refactor my code... Because yeah GameJam code holds together with bubblegum, duct tape and a prayer xD

I have tried out other ones aswell and feel everytime a bit more inadequate, most have more mecanics or more levels

but yeah we tried to do our best with the little time we managed to carve out of our busy children and work filled lives ^^

Nice atmosphere and execution here! We definitely shared some similar ideas here. The "instant growth" when you eat multiple apples caught me a little surprised, but overall very solid game!

Hehe thank you, and believe it or not this feature actually evolved from having to covering up a bug when the snake grew ... and it ended up making a puzzle mecanic I can't wait to explore more

puzzles progressed really well, this was a really enjoyable game! the post processing effects added a really nice level of polish

Everything felt and looked smooth. Last level was my favorite. I think the game is a bit too easy tho, like there are not really many things I can try to win, so sometimes i was just clicking mindlessly to try all positions

I feel you on that one, I made some harder levels but took them out for the jam to make it approachable by as many people as possible. 


Will update after wards and probably work on a full android release, I'll hope to see you there ;)

WOW!!! Great game.

Super clean and interesting puzzle game. I am a huge fan. The CRT look and beautiful art / sound made it even better but oh the puzzles were great. So many times I was one tile away from eating my tail then I would have a brain wave, not eat the apple and get it the next time. Super good job!

Really great puzzle game but i felt like i cheesed some of the levels tho lol!

i just would have appreciate a restart button, and some sound design/animation when eating an apple and that would be perfect
