How does your game fit the theme?
My game translates the musical languge of composer Steve Reich — known for his minimalist pieces featuring looping musical phrases — to platformer video games. My levels make use looping phrases of level geometry, and the loops help accentuate the subtly shifting elements each level contains.

This game is subtle and beautiful. The soundtrack, the visuals and the mechanics all blend together to create something that really does your inspiration justice.
Interesting concept and I did feel that the gameplay matched the music inspiration very nicely!
Not sure if it was at all intentional but when I walked backwards the level started moving the opposite way and it made for a completely different second experience which was soooo cool. Absolutely surreal experience, went from making the walls move IRL to making the move in game and IRL. This is art, and you cooked chef :)
You do something good that a lot of platformers dont do: Moving the camera Y only when the player is grounded. Such an important detail. The DKC games do that, and it’s honestly quite important for a good platformer. Though it may not have been put to a lot of use, I appreciate that detail.
Interesting means of implementing music based on how the level shifts.
Thank you! Games that have the camera move when the player jumps always make me feel sick. It's a big pet peeve of me. I spent a lot of time on tweaking that camera to make it just right and I'm really glad someone not only noticed that but took the time to comment on it.
I mean it when I say this is the most "art" a game has felt to me. I love when the level collides in such a way where it looks like a 2.5D perspective or something. My only gripe is that the phasing didn't match my pace, would've been cool if the phasing was dependent on the level progress itself instead of a timer.
This is great! I love this as an art piece more than a fun game, but there's huge potential for that with more time.
Very interesting concept!
Really creative spin on the theme! When the level started moving, I was like, “Whoa…”.
I had a great time playing this game! The concept is super creative and it fits the game jam theme super well!
Excellent implementation of the theme. It is epic how you managed to make the challenge level increase as time went on.
Thank you for the kind words! The difficulty increase was purely incidental.
Very very creative take on the theme, and it's honestly a shame that there wasn't enough time to add more, there's a lot of potential for highly experimental level design here. The art was very cute as well.
This is great! I love the experimentation in the design, using music as inspiration is really awesome, and the music captures the gameplay very well.
