I LOVE the concept, big plateform fan, the drawing mechanics is fun, but maybe clunky when you don't see far enough. Really great work for a 4 days Game jam, and i love the Loop man look !

Awesome game for 4 days, the loop grapple mechanic was easy to pick up. Like other people said, it was a bit hard to control in the air, but slowing down time while drawing helped. I think panning the camera to where you needed to go earlier might have improved the platforming. The character sprites were great (especially the ending, haha). Nice entry!

Great work! I love the animation and bouncing when you die

That is a very impressive game, I have no idea how you managed to implement that many features and art as a solo dev, great work!

I enjoyed the gameplay, the slow down was a nice touch and the levels were well made. They didn't feel repetitive and became increasingly difficult and interesting.

I would suggest adding some air control after looping, to reposition Loop-man when doing successive loops.

As a side note, we also made a game featuring Loop-man! It is pretty cool to see the "Loop-man extended universe" come together during this game jam 😁

I like the idea, and the gameplay was fun, but the movement in air felt a bit uncontrolable, and i couldn't really see much on screen the screen sometimes.

I really liked the art and the concept, drawing loops was a bit clunky.

The concept seems pretty neat but I can't say I was a fan of the "draw a circle to grapple" mechanic because it felt somewhat clunky. The visuals give the game a unique look though and the intro narrative part seemed funny!

This was a neat concept. I liked that the direction you move when passing through the grapple points is based on the angle from where you started. The camera was a bit finicky. After falling it seemed to not follow if you retried too quickly. It also felt too slow when you were going up as the next grapple point was not visible for long and you had little time to see the area to decide how best to progress.

the game is fun to play  good job in making this fun game

Very good, I'm glad the time slows down  when you start drawing, makes it a lot more fun. Classic three hit boss fight was fun, but I though he could have moved more once hit to prevent double hits

very nice!

Great artwork and use of little cinematics, makes the player put thought in it. very nice, something I may have to complain about is the camera following the player too slow hence giving to margin for drawing the circle when doint consecutive hooks, and I'll made the slowmode more slowed

Very fun game! I like the concept and the sound and sprites are very good as well.

The fact that hook direction of loop man was determined by his position and not by the direction the circles are drawn in felt like a bit of missed pontenial tough.
