It's me in a loop, refusing to sleep while scrolling on tiktok lol! really unique, but it felt more like watching something playing than playing.

Great job otherwise

The concept is definitely new to me and unique, however a little unsatisfying as it felt like i wasn't doing much if i won or lost. Could implement some sort of mechanic that involves the player a little more and I could see this being a bit more enjoyable

This is such a cool and fun idea! The gameplay is very fun, and the TikTok inspiration makes it feel so doomscrolly. Great job!

Simple but very fun. The concept is very creative and I don’t normally see games like this.

The scrolling mechanic is a really unique way to do a loop -- it fulfilled all my gambling needs. I got a little hooked on this, not going to lie, and I think it's also shockingly well balanced for a game jam game. I wish maybe the SFX chosen were a little bit softer, or maybe there was some sort of background music, but that's a minor nitpick. Really enjoyed it, and congrats on finishing your first game jam in 2 years!!!! That's a huge achievement and you should be proud (:

This really captures the addictive nature of those "Multiply or Release" videos on YouTube or just watching the DVD logo screensaver. That being said I do wish I had a bit more control? I struggled to get past the first couple levels even...

Interesting idea :)

I was way too much involved in this and I spent way too much time playing your game! (enjoyed it a lot, congrats on finishing a game!)

It really can be addictive and  controlling the game with scroll is intresting idea. I wish upgrades were more significant, in many cases you will lose after like 3 fight and won't be able to stack upgrades to see the effect.

I don’t know why, but it got me the right way. Absolutely love it. I want this to be a real game, maybe with cute characters bouncing. Not sure if I understood that there is no control over the character, but I didn’t mind. It’s my cup of tea. great work!

I'm not entirely sure I understand this game. It seems like your only actions are choosing powerups? Scrolling didn't seem to do anything within combat itself. I wish it has more interactivity in that regard; currently, it just feels like total RNG. Not my personal cup of tea, although I understand that some people enjoy games like that.

Thank you for the honest feedback, this game could 100% benefit from having more player input, and as of now its super easy to just get screwed over by the RNG. At one point, I was considering having the player ball's sword orient itself towards the mouse (And knockback too so you can actually avoid getting hit), but I wasn't sure how I would make that work with mobile.

Was hoping there would be some way to permanently boost power since I did a search for idler games. Still, fun presentation. The boops and clinks were cute!

100%, I was thinking this too. I honestly think all of the skills need to be entirely redone because:

  1. The code for the skills right now is actual hot garbage 😭
  2. The skills aren't actually all that interesting, and having more permanent power boost other than speed and health (Like permanently increasing sword size or other new weapons) would be very nice.

Honestly, calling it an 'idle' game was more of an afterthought (It's idle only in the vein that you don't have control over the ball 😢). If I ever expand on this I will definitely lean more into being a proper idler with permanent, impactful upgrades

Very fun game

This would be great as an app! love the idea and simple layout. Good Job, check out my game if you can :)

This is a great take on the idler genre, I could easily see myself getting addicted if I had this as an app on my phone.

Super addictive! Better than any Star Wars light saber battle (don't tell the fan base).

There was a couple of times when the enemies health zero, but they still needed to be hit one more time, most likely a rounding issue due to regeneration. Would be nice to have a health reminder during the upgrade screen as well as seeing how the enemy will upgrade.

Great game!

The upgrades every round were super fun-- it was fun trying to maximize my ball's chance of survival!

Very fun game, could be very addictive if expanded and polished!

Fun idea, the lack of input in the battles themselves felt a little frustrating but I think it didn't help that I picked totally the wrong perks to go with haha

Also just a heads up, I found my scroll wheel wouldn't work with the game till I full screened it. Could be an issue local to me, but just in case anyone else is having issues; full screen :)

It's a very fun and tense game. I enjoy having to basically gamble, try to make the best decision and hope my ball survives to the next level. I will say the visuals could be better. I think it should emulate a social media site, because the black and white, with the only colors being red and blue makes it a bit dull imo. Other than that an amazing game and concept.
