Very interesting take on the tower defense formula, i liked it! biggest nitpick is that i wish time would freeze or slow down when you place defenses

Pretty fun! Unfortunately I couldn’t get the first level to load, but level 2 and 3 worked. I liked that my character was limited to the same path as the enemies and that I had to balance swimming away from the enemies with putting down enough defenses.

The defense building mechanic was a little difficult to work. I ended up just building as many squirrel turrets as I could at the very beginning and just racing as far ahead as I could. I didn't see any way to accumulate more money after that, so it was just a waiting game until the squirrels won for me. Maybe there was another defense that would have helped?

Overall, I liked it. A bit more time to work out some of the details, and this would make a neat full game.

A bit difficult, but the idea is fun and I had fun playing it. Too bad the first level is not working.

This is an awesome spin on a tower defense game, I think a great direction for this game to go in is to make your saws hurt you, and your fans push you around! Would love to see a full release in the future!

My game is a cross between Super Mario Galaxy, and Cuphead, if you have any interest in that!

Really interesting concept, a tower defender where you're runnning on a loop, trying to quickly place your assets before getting caught by the ennemies.

I would suggest adding one waterwheel by default on every map, like you did on level 1, because if you select anything else other than the waterwheel to put first, you're basically stuck with no money.

I would love to see this idea expanded with more mechanics !

I played the first two levels but I couldn't beat level 3. I didn't have enough money to buy more than one tower. I didn't undersand how to get more money... but I do like the concept and the fact that you're a beaver. If you want to improve it in the future for a full release, I'd recommand thinking about what the core challenge is, because swimming away is quite easy until level 3 where eventually you will be trapped between the boss and the torpedoes. But all around, I think the concept is solid and can definitely be turned into a really fun experience!

Perfect game. If you could add more levels after the jam it would be great.

Good fun! It became very hectic when trying to place a tower quickly while the boss chased you
