This is an amazing game! It looks beautiful, the mechanic was simple yet engaging, and there was a victory condition. Great work all around!

Hey, thanks! That means a lot coming from you. I follow you on YouTube what you do there is really cool!

Took a minute to get a hang of the controls. Very fun game play tough, even though it's simple. Felt good seeing a cheap item pop up.

Love the art and animations!! its a pretty cool concept on just the train keeps on looping. Great work! :)

I do not understand the game

... jokes aside, the game looks really polished! The art is great, I love the mix of 3D and 2D graphics and I was wondering how did you do that.

The gameplay is promising, but the rng left me with full wagons for several loops before finding a city where to sell the goods. Probably with a few more cities and more balanced rng, the game would "feel" better to play.

There are two bugs worth of notice: the first one is that the house sprite where you sell the 3 crystals for the win, shows on top of the train; The other is that if I press rapidly on the cities' buttons I manage to buy/sell more than one time.

Anyway, congrats for your work, I had fun playing it!

Wow! Impressive  XD thank you!
Well, it's not really 3D, it's a technique called sprite stacking. I’ll let you look into how it works, but basically it’s just a bunch of 2D sprites stacked together with a 1 pixel offset between each layer. pretty easy and really fun to do :)
Yeah, I noticed those bugs unfortunately a bit too late. Let’s just call them features then… ;)"

WOW! Rated this 25/25--such a fun game with gorgeous art and a fantastic premise. I was a bit confused as to why I couldn't buy things, but figured out the mechanics by the second lap. Saved to play again later!

Pixel art is outstanding. Impossible not to win in artwork additionally i wish there was a tutorial so i can let my cousins play this (Kids) they love trains like this other than that AWESOME GAME!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah, I didn’t have time to make a proper tutorial, but if you scroll down below the game, you’ll find an explanation of the mechanics and controls. That’s the closest thing to a tutorial I could include. :)

Gorgeous art and sound. Trains are always awesome!

Beautiful game and amazing ambience. I felt like perhaps the random items was a bit off? I would sit there for ages waiting while only things I didn't have could be sold...

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, that’s definitely a problem. I should have fixed it by either adding more cities to give players more choices, or by reducing the number of different goods available.

Really good artwork and simple enough to understand. Timing the braking  was kind of tricky, even with my 60hz monitor, so can't imagine what others were experiencing.

Awesome game, fantastic work!

What a cool interpretation of the prompt! Had a hard time with the control scheme with lining up the train. The art is beautiful and seriously polished.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Do you know if your monitor runs at 60 or 120 FPS? I made a mistake, and the train runs twice as fast on 120 FPS monitors. That might be why you’re finding it hard to stop.

The art style was great and i really liked the retro vibe, however i had issues learning how to line up the train sometimes on the buy and sell points, thanks for sharing your creation!
