This is the most creative idea I've seen so far, brilliant work! I wish Mark had featured this.

Nice! It's impressive that you carried the idea of a knot to a simple enough game idea that it fits in Pico-8 graphics. I tried to make a knot theory thing too but it turned out a way harder game than I anticipated. I came from your video btw, I wish I'd seen this in the rating period, definitely a 10 out of 10!

Great idea for a game! I’m super curious about how the logic works. Are you just checking the order of the crossings? Or is there something more knot-theory-y going on?

in case you're still interested and haven't seen it, the creator made a video about this game

pico-8 and a wonderful wonderful game. aesthetics and just really great. creative and fun. I unfortunately couldn't get past 5. felt like it was nearly perfect, triple checked all over and under and must have done it from scratch 5+ times. I read your response to another comment that win detection had a few issues - maybe that's it or maybe I need to get gud. either way, thank you for the experience!

this one is a bit round on the right, but I tried correcting that too to no avail.

Very interesting take on the jam theme; I never would have thought of this at all! Great stuff!

Great take on the theme. Aglet lol, loved it, though some music could make it great even more. Really loved it thoughhh. Great work :D

Awesome game! Though I wish I could remember what it was called...

Really cool concept, I'm always happy to see a PICO-8 game. I managed to beat all the levels somehow despite the issues. Great job!

Its interesting to see a knot based game, and i think its done very well, and i hope you were able to clear the win detection issues. Well done!

Very cool idea and I looove pico-8 and you made it look so good. Good job!

Really cool way of integrating the loop idea, the most unique I've seen so far! The gameplay was really nice, although I kinda wished to be able to do it with the mouse and to see accuracy scores, but to be fair, when I saw that it was done with pico-8, I can't help but appreciate this little artwork.

Unique and interesting game. So satisfying to get the knot correct. It really fits the "loop" theme well. Also, love to see a pico-8 game! Great work.

Thats super cool. I'm really curious how the win detection works and how you make this whole thing tbh. Satisfying and charming, great aesthetic, congratulations! And if you like puzzle platformers then check my entry out :)

Goind under and over is really satisfying to do, and the easy undo makes it a very smooth experience.

What a fantastic concept and execution. Very fun

A very creative interpretation of the theme, I like the pixelart style and it controls well. I think it could do with some sort of feedback once you finish the knot, though. I also couldn't hear any sound, so let me know if thats just on my end.

Well executed and focussed in style and gameplay

i couldn't get the last knot to work though, unfortunately

I like its simplistic charm and art style! Additionally, the game mechanic is extremely unique, and I think you executed it very well.

Really cool interpretation of the "loop" theme!
The concept of tying knots with a rope is super creative and fits the theme well. It was funny and satisfying to see how small hiccups happen when overlapping the rope to form knots — I assume that's when the game calculates whether the rope is placed and looped correctly.

Level 6 took me 5 tries to get right — definitely a good challenge!
At level 3, I initially failed the loop task and got stuck because I didn’t realize I could undo the drawing with the back key. Maybe a small hint or visual cue about the undo option would help new players avoid that confusion.

Overall, a great experience — I really enjoyed it and managed to finish all 8 levels. Nicely done!
