What an incredibly creative take on the theme! And such good execution too! The writing was hilarious, and either roleplaying as the cringiest dad alive or helping out the poor guy by making gen alpha slang spit out of his mouth is a delight. The ending of the story is obviously very heartwarming, too. :) Love that picking the "I love you kiddo" option is considered GOATED by the game. Heck yeah it is! Speaking of which, the addition of those sound bytes is also fantastic. I've come to really appreciate jam games that add voiced lines of any kind and this was just a great implementation. I will say, though, I wish the game didn't feel so "railroady", in the sense that it doesn't seem the answers you give have any impact to the story. Like, it would have been funny to see some reaction from the father's kid to him using gen alpha slang lol. But I'm only just realizing that maybe that's part of the story, too. After all, there is an alternative bad ending to the game, anyway. Overall, awesome job, and I'm happy your game did as well as it did in narrative!

Really, it's such a creative take on the theme and I loved every second of it. The responses tripped me up sometimes (are any of them just made up fake slang? That would be cool if so) but it was always really funny to imagine them coming from a dad. The ending was very heartwarming too <3

I only wish that there was a way to see at the end how well you did (or how bad, depending on what you're going for) but I also get that it would go against the spirit of the ending.

Totally deserved #35 in narrative btw

This is a really great game, I love the concept and it's executed so well. Such a creative take on the theme! I'm a bit shocked at how much of the lingo I did know, but sometimes I really had no idea. The cringe/mid/goated sound effects and animations were great, such a small detail that adds so much to the game. It also made it very satisfying to get one right! Love the narrative woven into this as well, I wasn't expecting it to become so wholesome. Well done!

really fresh idea, I liked the interpretation of theme loop man, really made me emo a bit. Loved it. Would appreciate an effort if you could rank my game too. 

This was a really fun little game! I love that in the end we learned that it's not the lingo we need to stay in the loop with but the life of kiddo #1, truly an emotional  loop! Very cute :)

Fun and cute concept!

This is such a cute and sweet game! I also really liked the sound effect for clicking on a text option, it's so satisfying! I was doing well in the first half or so, then started guessing because I was pretty sure the only options I understood were wrong 😅. Also, I thought that the kid being called "Kiddo #1" meant that there was at least one other kid that we'd talk with, so I was wondering when a "Kiddo #2" would show up, haha. All in all, fun game!
