Very fun game, kept me on my toes. The boss seemed to always outpace my upgrade, but this game concept is awesome!
Yeah there are certain boss upgrades that are too powerful if you're unlucky lol.

What a delightful bullet hell. The combat felt really tight. I appreciated the health bar and infinite lives so that it was a bit less punishing while getting to know the boss patterns.
I liked the rarity system for upgrades, and the rewind animation really stood out as a great touch.

Fun game
Finally getting an epic upgrade in the slot feels great, I think I would have preferred it if losing a fight actually ended the game, or at least deduced a life.
But the game feel is really good and I played a while just to get more shoot speed.
I stopped playing at loop 18 after losing for a 3rd time in total.

Yeah right now the game can't even end, if I continue working on it I would implement roguelite elements for the player to have a sense of progression (losing and winning as well lol)
Cool gameplay and upgrades, would have liked to see a bit of a progression also but overall solid entry!

Such a fun concept!! Having the boss get upgraded as well was a stroke of genius. I really enjoyed the music as well!
Honestly, I bet if you polished it up a little and slapped on a bit of a meta-progression system where you're unlocking new stuff each run, you could very easily have a full game on your hands. Outstanding work!!

Is the Ability Stacking System inspired by 'Rounds' by Landfall Games?
Its just really well done.
I didn't know Rounds but it looks good, inspiration on Ability Stacking come primarily from Vampire Survivors like games such as Bounty of One. Visual style inspo is from Tiny Rogues (amazing game) and old side scrolling shooters.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'm happy with how it turned out, only problem is that when reaching 60+ loops it becomes pretty hard to understand what's happening and game balancing is not that good
Very fun, love the variety of builds you can try to get. Like the slot machine for the upgrade cards. Art wise it was great as well!
