Controls were a bit hard at first, but the design and artwork are top!
I like the variety in the track design!
Nice map design, looks really good. Car controls in the beginning are super slippery but that's also the point I think since upgrades improve the control. Had fun, good job on the game submission!

Nice concept but i had skill issue so i couldn't finish a lap
this is a fun game. i think i made it to lap 3, but a lap counter would be nice so the player can keep track of it. i liked the track, but there were a few bits where its difficult to stay on. mainly the ramp before the offroad part and the big banked turn after it. it would also be nice if you could use your spanners to repair your car as well as upgrade it. i do like the survival racing idea though, i haven't seen that done before, and i think you did it quite well. Good job with this submission!
Yeah that was the plan, I was going to have a fuel tank which doubled as the health bar, where you spend spanners to fill up, repair damage after crashing and upgrading speed etc. Once you run out of fuel it's game over. But I ran out of time unfortunately. I regret making the mountainous section, it was very hard to make a good track up there. Thanks for playing!

you have a very satisfying vehicle controller here! i'd suggest turning down the swivel on the camera a little and some sound would be great too

I really enjoyed getting out the track and climb through the mountains. The terrain outside the track feels very alien, that's cool. The default camera is a bit awkward, It's hard to see were i'm going
The car feels nice to control, I actually liked that it is a little janky. Combining rogue-like elements with racing is a nice concept!
Not very creative concept really but I liked playing. The car controls could use some work though because they feel very jank. There's also a bug at the finish line where you can just drive over it constantly to increase difficulty.
Great concept, had fun, but I am very bad at it, good tho!
