Nice concept. I love the menu spin :D Music fits. Art is nice also.

Tough platformer! The idea for the snake chasing you is sick.

Thanks for playing our game! We originally planed to have a final scene where the snake bites its own tail (you know, to make a loop!) but we opted out in favour of the "infinite" platformer. We know that the platforming part of the game is rough and we will absolutely come back to fix a lot of stuff once the jam is over.

I'm not much of a platformer so I kinda sucked but the artwork is very crisp.  I am a huge fan of it.  I love the concept but I couldn't really tell that it was a similar level over and over (unless its not supposed to be).

Thanks for the comment! It was never supposed to loop just one level, although I think that'd be kinda fun if given enough thought. It's a loop because you loop around a planet, over and over, and yeah after a while the levels will start repeating; or well, looping, so you were right about that. Anyway, thanks for the compliment on my artwork, I really appreciate it!

An infinite platformer is a very cool take on the theme! It would be great if the laser enemies telegraphed when they were about to turn on so you could anticipate it a little better. I had fun with this! Good job.

Developer

Thanks, it was originally in the plans, but you know, time limits and such, so the game is quite unpolished. We'll probably make an update fixing all of the things we couldn't because of time restrictions after the jam ends.

cool take on Loop! the ground enemy moves at the same speed as the player, which means i got stuck behind him a lot and kept dying to him. other than that i loved the infinite platforming idea!

Developer

Thanks! After the post-jam clarity has kicked in, both of us realized how much we actually have to fix in regards to the gameplay after the gamejam ends. But, you live and learn, so hopefully we'll do better next time! Anyway, thanks so much for playing our game and taking the time to comment, it really means a lot!

A fun take on the theme. Really neat main menu as well. Also the perspective was pretty cool.

Developer

Thanks for noticing the main menu, I really loved making it like that.

Its a pretty fun game and i like the fresh take on 2d platformers with a circular looping floor. platforming mechnics can be improved (adding coyote time, moving platforms moving the player as well etc), but i rly like the core idea!

Developer

Thanks for the suggestions! We realize that our gameplay isn't as good as we wanted it to be, but we'll take this opportunity to learn from our mistakes and hopefully fix them after the jam ends. Thanks again for the comment, it really means a lot to us!
