A really fun and enjoyable take on the "recording your actions and looping" theme I see across many games in this jam. Had a good time trying to get Ballsy to where he yearns for. Good stuff haha

How does your game fit the theme?
Ballsy (the sentient golf ball) yearns for the holes. But his sentience is limited -- he can only remember a few directions, so he'll continuously loop them... until he gets bonked back into reality.

Loved the original take on the theme, kind of reminded me of algorithm exercices to learn loops and stuff β great game :)

Nice fun entry! I like the music choice and the visuals is also fairly nice. I didn't get the weird sound effects you get when the ball goes into the hole, but that's not too bad. The resolution on the web build on both windowed and full screen is not correct, but the game is still playable.
The mechanics is also fairly simple but fun and I enjoyed it.
One bug I have found is that the first time I load the final level, there were invisible hitboxes on some of the empty tiles, preventing me from completing the puzzles, even after I had figured out the solution in my head. I thought I was not supposed to go there so I tried some random things until I died. Then when it reset the level, there were no more invisible hitboxes so I could completed the puzzle.
Great game! I enjoyed it very much. Dat dramatic level ending each time :D. Great implementation of the theme, great job!
This is seriously amazing (especially when I read that it's your first game!)
I like the theme interpretation, and the game overall is incredibly polished. Very good audio, song, and visuals. As others have said, the only feedback I have is that there should be a visible grid (maybe faint, semi-transparent, but there), because at times it was difficult to measure distances.
I think there's a bug on the last level. I pressed <-, then ->, then up, and won lol. It seems I bonked into an invisible wall and got right next to the hole. It didn't take anything away from my experience tho, as a matter of fact it was kinda funny.
Really nice entry, one of the coolest I've played so far.
Looooved the art and the story !! Also the winning screen make Ballsy look incredibly evil, which I love, which nefarious purpose is this little guy up to ? Seems like he's out for vengence
The one note I might have is that i sometimes struggled to figure out the distance between elements ? Maybe having a discreet grid overlay would fix that
So far this is my favorite implementation of this jam. I think you've implemented the theme perfectly and backed it up with quite some levels. I love the idea of the looping movement inputs! The music was a bit loud for me and I'd love to have some option to lower it of turn it off altogether. Great job, great submission!
Haha! Loved it, one of those games I actually fully completed from this Jam. Very nice!
Nice submission! I really enjoyed reading ballsy's back story! Great art and sound! I saw someone mention that it was hard to judge how far he would go, I had the same experience but overall amazing job! Congrats!
Really nice visuals and music, and a fun idea. I found judging how many spaces Ballsy would move based on my inputs a little unintuitive. Might be worth adding a grid to show how far one space of movement is?
We're working on a new version of the game!
It'll feature 1 more level with an infinite "length," and a leaderboard! You'll have 5 wall hits before your body "shatters." How far you can get with different move combinations? See if you can beat other people's high scores on the leaderboard, including the creators' high scores!
Nice game, well done, lockintwins & burnabl. I enjoyed the puzzles and the artwork. The soundeffects fit well. I had the feeling that my controls weren't always converted exactly the way I put them in - but maybe I just forgot what I had entered π
Keep up the good work!
