very fun game, interesting take on the theme and i love it! maybe a bit of a more in depth tutorial could have made it easier to understand, i felt a bit lost at the beginning, but game jam so understandable :)
if you have time, id really appreciate it if you could give me some feedback on my game (/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3780834) - its my first game jam and im looking to get better!
Thanks for playing, we will be sure to check out your game!
Looks interesting but it’s too bad that the rules aren’t explained. You can understand most of it by trying things but it’s still not very clear.
Thanks for playing, we wanted players to learn over the course of a few runs!
I struggled to understand how the tiles worked, but i can see the potential of the idea.

Thanks for trying it out!
Would be more engaging if it was easier to understand
Sorry to hear you had a rough time with it, thanks for giving it a go!
i like your concept game, i enjoy playing your game. Nice Game !
Thanks!
Fun game! With some trial and error easy to understand, hard to master. Works very well and the music and SFX fit the game very well. I could not see the whole UI anymore when I had 6 buy options, but other then that it is polished and complete! Well done.
Easy to understand, hard to master! Thats what we like to hear! Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!
Good board-game-like war game. I didnt now I could heal my units before they got hit but I unterstood it later. Actually fun to think about where to place your units. Need some polish but I like it. Also I'd like to see what I draw next to have things to consider.
Interesting idea to have the ability to see what the next draw would be, maybe that can be a shop upgrade. Thanks for playing!
Can get softlocked quite easily, but fun concept, just needs a restart button.
Thanks for playing, agreed on fixing the softlock!
It took me a second to figure out how the game worked and what everything does, but it was pretty fun once I did.
It was going good until I got softlocked from archers not wanting to attack the enemy, though. :/
Oh no the now infamous archer bug, glad you had fun with it before the softlock!
I soft-locked my self by flooding the play-field with archers!

Yikes! The archer glitch is brutal
Got a bit confused at first so it took me a while to get into, but aside from that it was really fun to play
Thanks for playing, glad you toughed it out!
weee i had fun with this one. would be fun to see this was taken further (honestly could even be turned into a fun board game). i abused the fact that archers cant attack the player and blocked off all the enemy's routes of attacks and got far enough in the game to absolutely break the shop >:3. i didnt quite get where the "loop" part came into play until i came here to the comments , thats probably why i was able to so consistently thwart the enemy :x
Glad you enjoyed it, I think its been fun seeing players figure out the archer is bugged but then using it as a strat, def want to put a unit in that does something like the bugged archer! Thanks for playing
Way too confusing unfortunately.
Sorry it was confusing, thanks for giving it a go!
skill issue
hahaha
I guess most people were confused because bask looks like a left arrow, so why does it move right?
It can actually pack a lot of strategy if you would increase difficulty & increase hand size to invite more decision making, the way piece behavior is distinct, turn based and pre-determined is solid foundation. Also the game looks nice. And yeah roguelike shops are never truly random and that helps a lot
Agreed on the arrow, its funny how you stop seeing that issue after staring at it for 4 days! Thanks for playing
Nice Game!! but Starting from zero if you lose is not good idea for me
but style and art still cool, 5 start but I'm not sure about Narrative, 5 start why not
Keep going!
Thanks so much for playing, its tough restarting but we feel its part of the fun!
Nice concept, but still needs some work.
It could be a bit clearer of what happens and about your remaining pieces.
But I could really see this as a proper game with a Board-game aesthetic and and more polished gameplay-loop.
I also got stuck as some point as my archer won't do anything, and the game wouldn't restart.
Good job overall!
We agree with your points! Thanks for playing!
Cool concept
thanks!
Nice, chunky sound effects make this game feel very robust! The mechanics took me a little bit to adjust to. Good work putting this together!
thanks we are all glad you enjoyed it!
