This is a really interesting interpretation of the theme but the presentation and starting deck make it difficult to understand and make progress quickly. I think that this could be made much more user-friendly, but the idea has a lot of potential! Great work!

The concept is really cool !I think there's a lot of place for tweaking with the colors and what effect they can have with different type of cards

It was complicated to go far because because it's not that easy to follow how much ressources you have (during the assignation phase and the resutling phase, i did'nt understood if it was the same values or if they were modified by the effects), also something that could've help is indicating on the soul list wich one already got assigned something to do. Even if we can see how they affect the ressources, if their job has no effect you have to put the mouse on them to see it

I really liked the aesthetic, it was very pleasant to manage this little group of people and guide them !

Thank you for playing!
The resources you get during assignment phase and at the end *should* always be the same with all the buffs counting correcly during assignment. That said we did unfortunatly find some bugs in this version, so it might not always be the case/
The original idea was to modify the soul in the top screen with some image of the role it was assigned (so you would see the same fire around a peasant or a hunter), additionally souls get a line of text at the bottom when they have some assigned role.

We want to make the game more readible for the player in the post jam version, so thank you for the feedback!

Creative idea, a little confusing on the execution.

Wow! I like the approach towards the narrative that is build from the players choices. The most compelling part was seeing the cards play out at the end, I think you could lean more heavily into that. I felt confused at the start, some more clear directions would be nice. Good job! It was fun!

Cool game ! Only issue for me was that the text was a little small at times, which made reading tedious. Appart from that, I really enjoyed it !

I like the complexity of the game. It is a little slow, maybe start with less souls ? I dont know exactly... but congrats !! Cool concept =)

Fellow card game submission! Very engaging and solid gameplay, especially the writing is exceptional! Makes you really plan ahead and visualize the results.

Color-coding the card text was a good idea - made it much easier to read. However, the cards with multiple conditions felt slightly overwhelming - maybe if you're going to build up on this, highlight stats you're going to get when hovering over a certain soul while holding a card.

Thank you for playing and for a great suggestion!
Idea of highlighting the text in the card (and maybe on a soul in some way) wouldn't be that hard to implement but will improve the clarity of the gameplay a ton. We will definitly look into that, thanks!

I missed where I could see how much science I had. Other wise interesting concept.

Thank you for playing!
You can see how much scietific progress you've made with bar on the top. The value only changes at the end of the generation (which in hindsight was not a good choice) and there is no way to see the concrete numbers.

I feel like this game definitely has a lot of potential! The only thing is the cards were a bit hard to read since they the text was altogether and fairly small. I did like reading the results of the roles after each game though. Overall, I enjoyed playing it :D

This game was so narratively interesting. I loved how I got to see how each person changed in rebirth. Great job!
