How does your game fit the theme?
Create loops with empty tiles in the center of your trail in the level to progress, loop around the inside of an icosphere to play! Initial idea was partially inspired by the old arcade game Qix

It told me to get panopticon'd! The pillar effect is pretty cool. The sphere looks so eerie with all the eyes. After the one level, it just let me restart. I see a screenshot with a different level though. Maybe it's not in the release?

If you're able to bring up 33% of the pillars, it'll move to stage 2. I did find this somewhat difficult to do but with practice I could get there sometimes. If time runs out it'll say "GET PANOPTICON'D and then tell ya to restart :)

There is also the possibility that you got 32.5% and it rounded up and told you you had 33%, that'd be my bad

Loved the concept of this game, I found the controls for navigating the sphere to be well tuned, smooth, and overall very interesting. Fun twist on the usual snake/paper.io type of game. I quite liked the visuals and the audio actually, I found the overall atmosphere of the game to be very surreal.

Congrats on finishing the jam, and great job overall!

I really liked the idea of navigating inside a sphere

Neat concept, I like the idea of being inside a sphere it's very cool. Good job!

Interesting take on the theme. I feel like some controle features are missing, such as a dash or something to trick the evil eyes.
Good job!

Developer

Oh, climbing over the pillars will break the trail of the eyes since they can't climb! But I could have mentioned as much outright :)

I like the idea of going around loops to secure tiles, honestly that's what my team's game did with ours as well! Visually the game looks nice but figuring out where to go did cause me some slight confusion. Nice work on the game however!

Great game! Got a little bit dizzy from the POV, but otherwise very fun :)

is it even possible to loop around the whole icosphere without your path getting erased?

Developer

No, the max length of your tail is 30, perhaps I should have mentioned, but I assumed people would realize it as they played.

How am I supposed to make the walls then

Developer

You turn? You can make loops that are smaller than the whole icosphere, just surround any number of tiles

Submitted

I guess I will need to figure it out then, Its not doing anything right now

Developer

I have it on the game page, but controls are WASD to move, Mouse to Rotate, R to restart, ESC to get your cursor back. Walk towards walls to climb them :)
