Incredible aesthetic polish and mood! Would love to see more in this style.
Hey thank you for playing! Glad you liked it :) We plan to hopefully make a full release some day.
This is incredible. I would spend money on this. Well done!
Hey thank you very much! Glad you liked it and thank you for playing!
Maybe we make a full release of the game in the future actually :)
This is very well done in terms of story, mystery, visuals, and just general atmosphere.
:)
Unfortunately for me, I had a very unenjoyable run of bad luck with the coins.
I'm not sure if I'm missing something about how the mechanics work; but it was very frustrating to lose like 16 flips in a row.
Also, I think there's a bug with the stick of gum.
On the turn that I used the gum, all three coins went against what I bet on.
Hey thank you for the kind words and for playing the game.
We are aware of the random RNG for the games. We intend to fix it after the rating period ends and we can update the game ofc.
The gum upgrade guarantees that at least one of the coins will be what you bet on and 2 others are random.
Till then I'd suggest going faster on the rounds betting all your coins, you will get the win after a few rounds for sure!
Cheers and thanks again for playing :)
amazing! solid experience
Such a great experience! Well done with the atmosphere and vibes!
The first time I tried playing was through the web version, but the screen kept freezing. I followed the advice to run the executable instead, and it worked great :)
The first run felt a bit confusing, but I quickly got the hang of it and had a lot of fun. I reached the shotgun phase twice—shot the opponent once, and myself the second time. In both cases the loop continued, so I never figured out how to break it.
Visually, the game is impressive and reminded me of Buckshot Roulette. Considering it was made in just 5 days, the result is surprisingly polished. The only thing that confused me was the chewing gum: it only secured my bet the first time I used it.
Also, the squid caught me off guard the first time. Nice work!
Hey thank you for the detailed feedback :) Yes Buckshot was an inspiration for this game.
So the way the gum is supposed to work is it glues one of the gums to the table so it won't flip, but we ran out of time so now it guarantees that you get at least one of the coins on the side you have bet on. Will fix it as soon as the uploads are back on.
Haha so finally that ending jumpscared someone!
Cheers!
In love with the artstyle! It's a bit like Inscryption. I felt like I always lost if I bet more than 1 cap, but I bet that's just gambler's fallacy stuff talking. Congrats on a great jam entry!
ok, you are the second person saying that, I had to go back and test the game haha
I had rounds that I win in one bet, by going all in so I don't think the RNG is broken.
Thank you for playing and hope you had fun! :)
That's a relief to hear, I'd rather it just be my perception than reality haha
Visually stunning and the intro really set the tone for the game. It felt that I always lost if I bet more than one and maybe that's just coincidence or a take on gambling. Nice work on the endings and thanks for the journey, well done :)
Well it is all RNG so you may get different results every time, or maybe just by believing you can manifest your chance idk haha
Thank you for the kind words and I'm glad you liked it! :)
Great now I want to play Inscryption again... 😅 Awesome work!
It's a compliment getting compared to inscryption, thank you :)
This game so cool with thrilling atmosphere.
If possible, can you please rate my game and leave a comment too?
Hey thanks for playing :)
good atmosphere!!!
thank you!!!
This games looks really good and atmospheric. My luck was really off and i was getting like 6 faces in a row :)
Hey thanks for playing! :)
We really should do something for that RNG shouldn't we haha Will fix some stuff after the jam for sure. Glad that you had fun playing!
First time I lost every single round, the 2nd time I won every single round.
Beautifully balanced as all things at the depths of the ocean? should be??
Super impressive amount of work for such a small amount of time! Loved it <3
RNG of the depths works in mysterious ways haha
It is true that the game is a bit luck based and gambling like, but upgrades are there to make it feel more random. We hope to work on it a bit more after the jam to make it better .
Thank you for playing and we're glad you had fun :)
Insanely impressive project for the jam! Fun gameplay loop and graphically stunning
Hey thank you for the kind words, happy that you had fun! :)
I love inscryption-like games. Took me a few attempts to get the hang of it but once I did, it was very immersive. Well done :D
Glad you liked it!
The narrative behind the story is amazing. Pretty sure it's referencing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Caribbean_diving_disaster
And not only that, the tie to Greek mythology fits the game's story as well. Amazing! The graphics are amazing and reminds me of Inscryption. Hoping there's a tutorial for it out there because I would love to bring that sort of polish to my game as well. Great submission!
Yes we did talk about the incident before jam, so it was pretty much an inspiration :)
Thank you for the kind words, glad that you liked the game!
Yes a tutorial is planned, it's just that for the jam we didn't have much time to include everything. Thanks for playing!
Such a great mood here.
Sound and visuals are stunning. Would love more just so I can dive back into that world.
Thanks you! Well, you might be able to in the future 😁
As others have said, the graphics are amazing and the atmosphere is incredible — I wish I could create something like this, haha.
Maybe adding some SFX during dialogues could help make the experience even more immersive.
As for the gameplay itself... well, it's coin flips. Since it's mostly based on randomness, I feel like the power-ups should help balance that randomness rather than amplify it.
That being said, on the artistic side, I have nothing to critique — 10/10!
Glad you liked the atmosphere!
We definitely want to rework the upgrades to make sure they give enough control. Thanks for your comment
Very cool graphics and atmosphere
I love the 3d low poly style, and the techniques used to give it a little stress to the player. In addition, isn't just playable, it has an ending too, so extra points for that.
