The mix of 2D and 3d was mesmerizing. The animation on the main character made me just stare at it while i was running into the wall.
Gameplay wise though... I got stuck after i fetched water from the lake and the glowey things kept guiding me back and forth. Nice submission!

Great solo submission! I think there's legs to flesh this out into a Papers Please-like game.
minigames to decipher what's genuine or not. Could be really cool.
I don't smoke irl but being in the game made me want to take a puff out of the smoke tray after a night of haggling. Great work!

Great effort on your submission. Games where you're bouncing off the narrators are really fun. Similar to Stanley's Parable and even Portal. Play around with how this can be done without compromising on gameplay. Loss of control and gameplay that leans towards inaction can be boring. Excited to see your future submissions!

The card plays feel really smooth, art is really charming, and there's audio to boot. Very impressive for a solo project.
There's a heavy first-turn bias favoured towards the player which I suppose is fine for a singleplayer experience, but strategy quickly became rock-paper-scissors. Could flesh out after the game jam, congrats on the submission!

Felt like Flappy Bird in a way. You're right, bird's can't be real cause they're flying and stuff

The voice acting adds so much charm and the pixel art is amazing. I just stared my character for a bit just in idle animation. amazing work! The gameplay itself was a little lacking. The enemies hit really hard, and the weapons I was sold are so short!
Great work though, congrats on submitting

I couldn't trust any of the chests.. great use of the tilemap, and animations

Great learnings for your next venture!

The pixel art is so great, initially had some trouble understanding what the goal was, but made sense once I started doomscrolling for a while

Loved the game! Especially the little escape room type game I wish there was more of that.
The graphics were great too!

As soon as I met Amber I was looking at her like this knowing the theme.

Our scoring system is a little all over the place, but yes there are 3 different endings to find! congrats on finding multiple and thanks for playing out GMTK submission

Last ditch efforts to rescue the shader minutes before deadline were in vain...

haha not a one man team, we're a couple (of besties) working on this game. An engineer and an artist. Thanks for playing!

A solid game with great art, audio, and game mechanics! I loved the different feel for the weapons but wished each one could've been expressed more which is difficult to do in a game jam.
Browser play was a little laggy even after the initial load, but didn't deter from the amazing game your team created in such limited time! congrats

This was so funny!!! We hit double score mode and started screaming irl haha, great game!

This was so fun to play! I love the chaos, turns out we like pop ups.

omg we didn't even realize the music didn't loop! Thanks for catching that, will push next update. And thanks for playing (more than once)! Glad you enjoyed the game.

haha don't worry they were designed so you weren't meant to ;)

mr. herman loves you back!! <3

Thanks for playing haha! See you next year! <3

yo mama so loved, she doesn't need a text

Haha thanks! Wish we had more time. We're a team of 2 (1 dev + 1 design), just a couple of besties <3

Jimothy our beloved.

Herman thinks you're amazing don't worry!!

This was so fun! the mechanic was really unique, loved the chaos!!

Checking out folks from our GMTK 2025 submission.
We did a similar Wario Ware style game for ours! typing game and drawing game and all haha. Love the art and it's great seeing the improvements!

Revisiting folks that interacted with our GMTK 2025 game.

The animation, or lack there of, is a little goofy at times but adds to the experience.
But the mining mechanic is just so good, i might have to incorporate it into my next game jam.

Would be interesting to introduce some sort of penalty so players can't just spam dig. I guess hitting combos help you dig faster?

Visiting some of the people that commented on our GMTK 2025 submission.

It was great playing your 2026 submission! Great interpretation of the theme, love all the hazards especially the sunlight and how it was implemented

Maybe not the best fit to the jam's theme, but definitely up there in terms of quality. The clicking and the enemy mana being sucked up has so much juice. Will come back to play a bit more, and with more polish i could see this being published!

Checking out some games I interacted with in GMTK 2025. Your games have such good pixel art set in a goofy but charming world. Plus it's always good execution on the theme. Well done. See you next year!

Checking in on some folks that reviewed our 2025 submissions!
Loved the pixel art used and the audio was also well designed.

There were a few moments where the game reset and it blew my ears out. Maybe ground collision detection happening over and over again? See you next year!

Was checking out people that commented on our 2025 GMTK submission to see how some folks progressed. Looks like you're publishing your 2025 submission. Congrats! Wishlisted!

Simple game with charming assets. It's actually pretty fun when you become a ball and eat the lil shooter guys

You thought you could hide a clicker game behind great pixel art, well crafted audio that fits the environment, and a fleshed out upgrade system and thought I wouldn't notice? Well I did

A super fun entry with a great concept. Our team also had a similar concept while brainstorming where you propel yourself forward by timing a bomb. Great to see it executed so well in a puzzle format

So cute!!!

This was soooo delightful! Beautiful textures, art, music, everything is wonderful!!!

This was pretty fun! Big fan of the art and narrative leading in, very lovely colors <3

Charming art or pets at war. Reminded me of Plants vs Zombies of the good ol days

The audio is juicy, artwork is triply in a good way

The mechanic works well with the theme and there's definitely something here that could be a good Balatro-like with enough polish. Great submission!

Loved the animated character. Once I got through a few levels I was jamming to how the countdown synced with the BG music
