I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with Mark that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.
cute game with nice graphics ^_^ v fun
This is such a charming game. I love the concept, the theme interpretation, and the art and character design are as delicious as the sushi. I think it would be helpful if you made the interactable portions of the UI more obvious, maybe a higher contrast color or highlighted in some way. I also had trouble figuring out how to actually play the game well, I tried mixing up a few pieces of sushi to put out at once and all the guests just stared at the sushi - I guess none of them liked those flavors in particular, but a bit more structure or hints (maybe reference Coffee Talk) might help too. Any way I'm giving you a ton of feedback because I love this game and I hope y'all refine it because I would love to play it more! Impressive work for 4 days.
I might just be dumb but I cant get through the tutorial. When i finish a sushi and am ready to put it down, all of the sushi's still say 0. I wont rate it yet, just lmk how to solve my skill issue and ill be back 😂
Hi there! Thanks for playing our game. When you want to serve a sushi, you can use the small coloured icons underneath your sushi to filter through which toppings you've put on. Do let us know if this works!
This game is amazing! I love the music especially!! It took me a while to figure some things out though. I like the aesthetic of this game, super cute. I can tell you all put a ton of work into this, super well done!
Absolutely heartwarming and cozy game! The artstyle was absolutely amazing and the cat was very cute indeed :> Fishing minigame was my fav part imo, simple but still very fun and addicting! especially with all the different artworks of fish. I think the only real thing i have to say is maybe the tutorial couldve been a little bit more handheldy cause its still quite a lot of info dump at the start, though that could just be a me skill issue :3 Anyways great game overall still love the art!
That's a lot of content to put in a game for a jam :0
Very relaxing and cozy; I loved the fishing minigame! I agree with a lot of the accessibility concerns here. I think just showing the sushi you've made and the ingredients on hover would help a lot. It's hard to visually distinguish the fish, especially when they look totally different from the sushi in the preferences menu--maybe giving the fish names would help! I also wish the customers were a little more forthright with *some* of their preferences so that it's not just total guessing... But this was a super cute game! Great job to everyone involved!
