How does your game fit the theme?

interesting take on the movement, definitely made it stand out!
Never thought that the loop theme can be integrated like this 👌 Literally this is awesome Theme design, sound, game play everything was unique & fun to play 😃 You should launch this game amazing work, I am beginner in this industry and this kind of games inspire me a lot kudos to you 🥳 👏
this dog be going wire mode! cute game <3 love the art doge hehehe
I love the music and the idea! I got confused for a few minutes on how the WASD controls rotated/moved the dog on screen and it can be tricky, but once I figured it out it was fun. Adding the time limit to the top of the screen really adds to the challenge of each level! :D
Such a cute game! I was confused by brown dog chewing the light bulbs, but eventually figured out that he just got a bit too excited if you jumped while near him :)
I love the everything, I think the idea and the game was very thought out. I just don't like that other dog eating my light bulbs... I was too mad at that dog that I couldn't finish the game. But other than that great game (and also I like your pfp).
Dog go woof. Woof make zap. :)
What a fun interpretation of the theme! I loved the wacky music and the line drawn at the end of each level. At first I was confused about the dog theming, but when the angry dogs were introduced it made a lot more sense! The game really captures the feeling of a dog frantically running around a dog park. Definitely one of my favorite games I've played for GMTK 2025 :)
Thank you so much :-D !!!!
We're really glad to hear that you felt the doggy dog world we were trying to capture! Happy to know this was one of your favorites. I really liked playing your game and making my songs just farting and barking hehe
Very unique and interesting take on the theme. Lots of potential!
Overall pretty nice. My only grape is the controll feel a bit too hard to controll at longer ranges. and I don't really understand how the brown dogs work other then they eat your bulbs.
Pretty interesting though
Love jumping the dog! I also like how the wire got drawn and casting shadow on the ground!

Cute game. I love the jazzy soundtrack. Controls are a little clunky.
Very odd and unique concept. Is the wire the dog's intestine?
Little unwieldy controls and level design felt not entirely uniform in terms of difficulty and legibility.
Love,

Thank you!
I didn't think of it as an intestine but now I can't stop thinking of it that way haha. We meant for the wire dog to look like a male breadboard wire that's black on the ends and colored in the middle.
Ohhhh. Whoops!

The song, art style, and main mechanic are amazing!
Very unique mechanic great use of the theme!
LOVE the cute dog on the cover art, the game was easy to figure out and I had fun
This was so much fun! The theme fits perfectly, you're literally making loops. The music fits the pacing of the game really well. The art is charming to look at, and the main mechanic alongside the opposites attract mechanic is creative and engaging. Seeing the loops at the end was a great touch.
The enemy dog felt more like a chance based mechanic, occasionally making me start over right from the start. More control here would make this a fun enemy. Why do they like lightbulbs so much??? Sounds painful!
I was able to make loops outside of bounds, despite the red cross UI. Would have been nice to be able to close the tutorial UI popups (which I think was the intention with the Got It buttons, clicking didn't seem to do anything).
As someone else said in the comments, I think starting the timer on the first move is a good call, or at least during the tutorial levels.
Super fun game, nicely done!
Thank you so much!
I really appreciate the in-depth feedback! I'm glad you got to enjoy our weird little game to the fullest :)
also we forgot about the got it button not working haha
Pretty charming game! I would have made the timer start when you make your first move, just to give you time to think about the level, and also, the dog enemies seem a bit unfair when they just move in random directions, ihow about giving them a pattern to follow so you can time your movement?
