This is such a goofy little RPG, I loved it. The characters were great, including their really fantastic character designs, and it was fun to talk to them and listen to their funny dialogue - Lassie never saying a single word while everyone talks to her is peak comedy. The story is simple but ridiculous. It was cool seeing an RPG twist with the lasso, as I've seen this Pokemon Ranger style mechanic being used for combat, but not for dialogue or interaction. Having the entire game be interacted with through the lasso was a brave but creative idea. It was incredibly clever how you made the lasso able to circle multiple people and see a potential conversation between them, I think there's a ton of potential in that alone, let alone all the other uses the lasso mechanic could potentially have. I think the combat left a little to be desired, as I believe this game should have supported mouse controls for the lasso and had the enemies had more distinct attacks and movement patterns instead - I know it's been done multiple times before, but I think the lasso as it was implemented in this version is a little wonky to control, though that may have been the point in order to raise the difficulty, for all I know. I also would have liked a concrete way to know that the game was over, I was expecting some sort of end screen and wasn't sure if there was anything more to see. Overall, really great adventure, I think it had some creative core gameplay concepts, and a really fun theme, world, characters, and story! Would love if this was ever expanded into a full game in the future, so we could explore the world and these characters further!

This was so charming! I loved the unique mechanics—I felt so smart when I figured out that you can lasso multiple people at once. Great job making this!
Great job. It’s clear that the story was well developed. Art work is amazing
I see someone was a bit humgry...
Wow, a nice little charming game! Loved the visuals and audio! It took me a moment to master the combat, but it was really enjoyable once I did. Dialogue with other characters is also great, and (cherry on top) the fact that you could have different characters interact with each other instead of just you really gave them more personality. Solid 5/5.
Keep up the good work!
Really nice premise and art! A bit hard to use the lasso though, but I enjoyed the game. Great entry!
Great art and cute characters! The color pallete, character designs are really nice and nostalgic. The lasso mechanic is a bit janky though - I think it's just a matter of too many variables (the screen size restricts the lasso, both the lasso and the lassie take contact damage, and moving character and lasso anchor at once also causes some issues).
This game was so cute! I really liked each character's personalities and the art to go along with it. Well done , you guys!
Incredibly fun mechanic and story! I really enjoyed going around talking to each character and wrangling those vermins lmao. I wish there's a bit more character involvement because I thought there'd be a plot surrounding Francis more. Still, incredibly amazing art and had fun!
Insane mechanic! I also like the fact enemies can hit the edge of your lasso to hurt you. Was a little confusing figuring out how to get dialogue to go off but figured it out. Fun stuff.
The controls were a little tricky to get the hang of, but I really like the take on the theme!
Great concept but the lasso controls could be easier to use!
Cute game! I love the art, the characters remind me of Final Fantasy 5 on SNES
This is a short but fun game which builds the setting really well. I do think I would've had an easier time using a controller though lol.
The game is solid but the detective section is a bit confusing since the woman at the bottom can't be interacted with with anyone and I can't loop people together to prove evidence (such as Gibson knocking stuff over in the barkeep interaction and Anabelle hearing stuff being knocked over late at night, with the poker player saying Gibson's hat could have food, or any pair of them or all of them)
Art is amazing indeed. But yeah, the gameplay on keyboard is a little hard :/
The artwork is amazing, but I couldnt figure out how to kill enemies, I tried to loop them in the lasso but nothing ever happened :(
