That's really an interesting way to adapt to the jam theme. Pretty fun!
Well done👌
We would love you to try our game, and we would appreciate your ratings 🙌
It is a fun and simple concept which makes it fun. I think it could benefit from slightly slower gameloop and seeds with different needs (different depth, likes/dislikes compost etc) ...soooo many seeds!
The game was alright, though I only managed to get the clover and the fern. It didn't feel like it had a lot of depth, and the percentages made it so that you can see the optimal growing spots. Perhaps it would be an interesting concept to discover what various plants need to thrive!

I found the game really enjoyable, It got pretty hectic quickly, and I even got a clover, which I don't know if that was the special or just another normal one. But it was a super fun quick play!
Thanks for playing!
The clover is the most common mutation, followed (kinda) closely by the fern (ofc you can’t mutate a fern into a fern, but you can mutate other plants into one). The last “common” (I did kinda mess up the mutation probabilities so they’re all way too rare) is the blackberry. I think after the jam I’ll update the game to crank up the mutation probabilities and maybe add a way to start the game with the plant of you choosing (except the super secret one)

An unusual vision of the topic! I loved it) at one point the gameplay got really crazy, I didn't have time to plant all the seeds that fell out!
I really like planting games, and the fact that you physically plant seeds in this one is cool. I like the way compost leads to additional plant types. I really hope you continue developing this idea further!
That was fun :D it’s too bad i never got any mutations aside from the clover though, even after many tries ;v; I think it would be great to add random compost areas appear on the map because aside from the first few seconds of the game, we have little incentive to plant anything outside of existing compost areas. Very quickly I only had 1 compost active and started stacking all seeds in there x) btw, the little information windows are Neat! Good job on the game c:
Looks cozy, but the gameplay is challenging.
It was a great experience that really captured the cycle of life.
that is soo cool game, cycle of death
u put more hours into that game it becomes a million dollar indie steam game
I had fun planting stuff. Don't know why the seed grabbing SFX sound like I'm digging through gravel lol. I liked the element of discovery, almost like Little Alchemy. My team also had an idea for a leaf game, didn't go well, so we had to scrap it 2 days into the jam lol. But your gameplay loop actually works. Well done!
I’m happy you enjoyed the game! I’d love to know what was your original idea if it doesn’t bother you!
(Btw, it’s a miracle the grab sfx sounds even remotely close to what it does given that I did it with a pencil case lol)
I love plants and its really nice to get right into bussiness
Plant go brrrrrr
Why are farming games always the most fun at game jams? One of the objective truths of the world. Good job.
I love growing plants! The game is super fun!
It just need a relaxing music to become a great cozy game!
Covered the world in ferns just like my pre-historic ancestors intended. Loved this... plants are neat.
This was a neat game! I liked the discovery process and experimentation with discovering different plant types and their growth conditions. I'd love to see some sort of progression to the game outside of planting different plants!
10/10 crashed my game with infinite Ferns
You madlad!
I love the sound design and how chaotic it can get really fast! Also, throwing the seeds around the screen was a lot of fun :D
