Neat idea. Seems like you may have overscoped a bit causing it to be rough around the edges, I fell through the world a couple times. Nice job getting it in :)
I like the concept - I tried this a couple of times and the weapons seemed to be missing the targets, or just not having much of an impact. Most of the time the projectiles would fly by, unfortunately. I think maybe some tuning and tweaking would do a lot - as it is its a neat idea, just needs more time in the oven! Thanks for sharing :D
A bit of a rough entry but definitely a creative one. Good job
The movement was nice! I wish I could get more into this game but it's a bit much to be thrown into! I think my main concern was the 'z' axis, I kept trying and failing to shoot at things in the sky. Still, a great effort, genuinely impossible to create anything during a game jam and so good job submitting something playable and interesting!
Controls were messing me up quite a bit and the game was a bit buggy and laggy unfortunately. Seems like a neat idea though.
ugh sorry thanks though
I don't think I've ever heard of "reverse roguelike" before, interesting. I was getting into it and I actually did manage to beat the boss by just shooting it run & gun style and that was fun. Though the V and F keys didn't seem to do anything (I think the F key would occasionally do a punch, but it didn't seem consistent), and I couldn't really do anything to the smaller characters there either. The 3D art aspect of the game was pretty slick though! With some tweaking and balancing and just better responsiveness, this could definitely be thing though. Solid work!
Thanks! The F is actually meant to trigger three different attacks as you click but the lag is probably killing it :( . The V is not working it seems.
Very interesting concept! I don't think I've seen a reverse-roguelike before. I had some trouble with the controls, having all the abilities be tied to keys makes it a little difficult to fire them off. I was fumbling a lot.
Yeah, more of a gamepad game. Thanks
I managed to beat it after 4 loops! I really like the movement jumping then, rolling is pretty fun:) Although I found the aiming quite difficult hitting the boss was a pain, but perhaps thats intended.
Thanks for playing. Yeah. The aiming needed more tweaking. The up and down arrows changes the perspective. So you can go to more of a third person view which helps.
Sorry about the large download. Just realized how big. I wouldn't play it either :)
Cool idea and interesting artwork! The game had quite a few bugs that made it feel unplayable but the idea was definetly there.
