Really creative concept and was super tricky for me to complete! Nice and polished as well.
Nice game! I like your interpretation of the theme!
Cool idea for a puzzle game, nice work.
The fact that this game needs a little pausing and thinking with a nice a cozy vibe in the background, is the perfect combination! It definitely feels like this can be a finished game to release, with some more levels and some little quality of life improvements. Good job!
Short but challenging puzzles. Can add more levels to be a nice mobile game. Love the art theme changing with level. The controls are a bit inconvenient, would like to have RMB to demolish tiles instead and R to restart. The camera moves too fast to make me feel dizzy. A decent game overall.
Really nice game, and loved the vibes!
Some things were very confusing for me tbh, though. Like in the first round, the central building was "1" in my head, not 0 (since you said it's the number of objects). Also, it was a bit confusing whether empty tiles can have any water at all (although it becomes obvious when I thought of it, but as a learning progression - it was a source of confusion). But once figured out, it's a really nice puzzle to play with!
Super cute puzzle game and really polished! I can see this as a full game with more levels and mechanics. The low poli art is stunning!
Cozy but challenging puzzle game, great work! Would love to play more levels in the future!
FYI I played on an iPad and the touch controls worked smoothly, although I couldn't change view or delete lines because I didn't have a keyboard. Maybe some buttons would make the game 100% touch-friendly :)
I had a great time with this game. I think the levels were well designed and had a good difficulty progression aside from the bug on level 1. (Funny that you missed an alternate solution on the simplest level and not the later ones. I was worried I would run into a similar bug later but I didn't.) I agree with Fruit Kobold's comment that the later levels were more straightforward, and I think you could make them harder by using less tiles as constraints. I would like to play more levels as these 6 were fun. The art was very good. I thought the audio could have been better though. I think the removal sound, the mars placement sound, and the ambient sounds for city and mars were a bit too loud or abrasive for the relaxed atmosphere of the rest of the game. Also, use different removal sounds for each world. I imagine that some ambient background music like in Mini Metro would work well with this game, but that's personal taste.
Thank you for your feedback! I'll definitely keep that in mind when updating it.
Such a cozy puzzle game with beautiful visuals and a cute core mechanic. Good job! :) I really enjoyed my time with it.
However, I came up with a solution for the first level that seemingly fits the constraints, but is not recognized as a valid one. The one from the walkthrough obviously works, but I am really curious about why mine doesn't. Help, please! :D
The bottom left corner is not considered correct even though there are only two sides touching the cell.
Thank you for playing the game! You're absolutely right and there is another solution for level one, as I mentioned in the previous comment I did make a mistake on level one and didn't realize about the second solution. I will fix it after the jam ends! :)
Ohhh, sorry, I haven't read other comments. Thanks for letting me know and good job with the game! :)
Beautiful and well-made game overall, and I really enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the early levels felt harder than the later ones. Tiles that clearly blocked building or hinted at a single solution helped a lot. Because of that, the final level felt smoothly flowing, and that was satisfying. The main thing I missed was a quick restart button, instead of having to go through the menu and toggle the view again. With a few quality-of-life additions this would be a near-perfect experience.
Also it reminds me of the classic Minesweeper :)
After Mark played the game during the live stream people found out there's another solution to level 1, I'll be fixing it after the jam as well as adding better in game tutorials!
It was a bit hard to understand at first. One or two ingame tutorial levels would have helped a lot. And i feel that the demolish toggle is unnecessary and uncomfortable to use. But otherwise, no notes, a perfect game! Loved the difficulty, loved the art. it's polished and it's creative and fits the theme. My fav so far.
PS if you have the time, would you mind checking out my submission?
Hard to understand and solve lol
I like the concept and simplistic lowpoly artstyle, looks very polished. I was a bit stuck on the mechanics bc I didn't get why in the first level you cannot just go around the outer edge of the two trees in the bottom corner. The camera controls could also be refined but I hardly used them anyways since the framing at start looks very nice. Otherwise great game!
