The collisions make the whole thing very difficult but very different from the ordinary "race against your ghost". I was surprised to keep trying again and again even if I was driving like if I was 100% drunk at each new try.

I really liked the theme of "beat your own ghost isekai". Would have loved to have a way to mess with your past selves, since they get better and better. I feel kind of incentivized to drive horribly for 3 rounds and then try my hardest on the 4th.

Amazing game! I really like how you can change your turning sensitivity as that really helped me out! The collision made it a more enjoyable game. Overall great!

Managed to complete the insane mode. It was a fun short game. I'm used to to racing against ghosts of my past self in these types of games but I think the added collision made it a lot more fun.

Great title and a great game! This is probably how id imagine how I would perform driving in the f1 just bumping every wall and oversteering everything x)

I like the idea of racing your past self, and your game executes this pretty well! The controls are quite decent, and satisfying to play once you get used to it. Nice one!

That one time I got reincarnated as some guy rating GMTK game jam submissions and played a  fun game that made me see with my own eyes how bad I am at racing.

Loved the idea, and loved the execution. In particular, I liked the design and artwork, and the challenge aspect of racing against my own ghost. The controls felt very smooth and responsive, and the turning angle scaling with speed is a very very nice touch. My one gripe is that although the movement felt good, it didn't really feel like car movement (I think because of the slide-iness of the back wheels?), but that is a very minor nitpick. Great game, had a blast racing against my self!

I saw the title, and I expected what I came for. Pretty hilarious seeing how the car physics work. The ghost doesn't seem to exactly mimic what you do, but you'll see it curve sharply at unrealistic patterns that just makes you chuckle at it. Overall though, it's a nice fun game whose comedic feel was helped by the title, sound track and art :)

Veeery interesting concept, the car handling was a little tricky at first but racing against myself was really cool because I could see myself progress over time. Remarkably well polished for a jam game and overall very well made. Congratulations on the submission, and well done!

Interesting idea! I have a small gripe in that I didn't really like that on normal mode my past self seemed to still speed up against me. I am notoriously bad at racing games so figured I'd have an easy race against myself for the second lap because past me, the noob, would be crashing into every corner or taking them wide and learning the root, but he zipped off care free with utter disregard for the walls with which I had collided! I though perhaps I had hit hard mode by accident so after several failed attempts to beat myself I tried another really purposefully slow lap. TO which I watched myself who I figured sucked at the game suddenly become sonic himself! It did leave me laughing and I still had a good time with it, but I would have preferred it I think if past me really had truly been my past ghost. Good job though, I liked the art and the race tracks route :)

I liked the game, it’s creative or I haven’t played a game where I race against my ghosts in a literal way, or it feels a bit different than the classic time trials in racing games where you only race against your ghost to get a PB, here you can collide with them and it’s more than 1, also those aren’t literally your clones because they behave same as in some parts and in some not which is good because you can’t cheese the game in an easy way making it challenging.

The controls are good once you get better at it, it feels great to take a turn, more in the 2nd last turn where you can just press right and accelerate because it aligns well. The normal mode is good but I actually prefer the insane mode, the obstacles actually add fun to the track and make you do better at the game, also the pick of the song it’s a lot better and feels more intense.

About the insane mode, at 1st I got annoyed at 2 obstacles because it can stuck your car in a very “bad” way or it can kill your run because you have to go reverse and then you can go again, where the other obstacles don’t lock you so bad if you hit them. I gave it another try after a break and I didn’t find this problem because I tried to avoid them and try to drive better. Still I left you screenshots of those 2 tire spots

Once I had my break, the insane mode was very fun and I could drive a lot better, the ghosts were great and felt good winning the 4 races! I could see myself playing this game more if more maps are added, it can be a fun challenge. The visuals are great, I never lost my car from my sight, just the camera is a bit close but once you learn the map, isn’t a problem.

Also, with that name, how I couldn’t play this, I would like to see something like that, would be funny xD

This is one of those games that actually benefits from controls that are a bit unintuitive, because it makes your gradual improvement and understanding of the controls a satisfying escalation as you face your past selves that weren't as comfortable with the controls as you currently are. It's a very fun idea!
