I am very very impressed with this. There was clearly a lot of thought and dedication put into the game, and I love that he said padawan at the end it was funny

Great game! Kaiken sushi turned into a puzzle! You totally deliver the feel of similar games (from undercooked to dave the diver), while providing a unique puzzle game-play. This game feels like "I definitely played something like this," but then I can't remember anything that is close enough :) Also loved how elegantly simple yet puzzling it is - just a few things to control, yet makes your brain cogs rotate like crazy.

And great art and music! :) One of the best games I've seen this jam!

Developer

Yeah we were going for the overcooked style but had no idea about Dave the Diver until this game jam lol. Yeah we were super happy with how the difficulty turned out. glad you enjoyed it!

I had a lot of fun playing this game. I find the game loop and level design including on boarding quite good! The in game art was nice too. It's already satisfying to play but I think there is still some potential when it comes to sound effects.

You guys did such an amazing job! This could also easily be a mobile game. I'm sure people would play this.

Developer(+1)

The game actually works on mobile right now lol. Yeah I wish we had had a little more time with sound effects. Thanks for your feedback!

It's a fun game with the right amount of difficulty. I liked how you introduced every mechanic progressively.

The text was a bit slow to me, I would have liked it to display the whole text if I clicked.

The animations were funny, and everything on screen made sense and was quite intuitive.

Well done, I had fun!

Developer

Yeah we are really happy with how the difficulty turned out. Yeah in hind site the text should have been faster, just ran out of time with some of the UI elements.  We actually had to spend some time on the gates because it took a lot of iterations to make them show at a glance which way the belt was going. Thanks for playing!

This is a really great game!  I have to save this one.  This is the best example of looping mechanics I have seen.  Your artwork is awesome!  Definitely need to keep an eye out on this and your future creations. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! Yeah we had an additional artist this time and he did an awesome job. We were really happy with how integrated we got the loop into our game.

Amazing work. It game me "Dave the Diver" vibe, mixed with "Overcooked" - both of which I love. Great execution, interesting idea.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! yeah we were going for a bit of an overcooked vibe but did not know about Dave the Diver till after the jam lol.

I am now one with the conveyor belt. Thank you for your work. Fun and engaging. And makes you think just enough to not get bored or overwhelmed. Graphics and music feels quite nice too

great art and fun trying to optimally time adjustments to get deliveries in minimal time! nice job!

Developer

Yeah was super happy with how much reliability the game ended up having. Glad you enjoyed it!

This is a really well executed core mechanic. You came up with some great puzzles for it as well! I never found the timer very pressuring, it might be interesting to see how the game would fare if individual customers had a timer associated with their order instead of a global timer. Great work! I think there's a lot more potential here!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!

It's very complete and the mechanic is fun to play. Good job!

I mean the guy is not going to let you own his store without knowing if you have epic sushi skills. Glad you enjoyed it!

This is significantly more fun than I expected. I liked the music and the visuals, and don't have any real criticisms regarding the gameplay (it's very well balanced and I didn't encountered any bugs). Nice job 👍

Developer(+1)

It was much more fun then I expected as well lol. Glad you enjoyed it!

The gameplay seems simple but is deceptively complex! This game has tons of character from the animations to the dialogue, well done.

Developer

Thank you! enjoyed your game as well.

Great game! The gameplay, art and music work together really well! I really like the potential for optimizing sushi production. I kept finding myself trying to find the optimal way to fill the orders. Except for the number of levels I would assume this was a full game.

Developer

Thank you. We may make this one into a full game soon. ( :
