This is really testing my typing skills lol. Pretty fun game
Okay so I really like the concept for this, having your whole keyboard as a guitar hero controller makes a lot of sense because a lot of us have grown up touch typing already. the visuals were good and it felt like the timing was about right.
My big piece of feedback is that it's quite monotonous to hit everything right on the beat over and over again. The fun thing about rhythm games is the variations in rhythm as you play through, hitting syncopation and triplets and trying to get yourself back into the rhythm after you mess up a note. Because the game was basically just waiting for me to hit whatever key it was on on my own time, only worrying if I'm on the beat when I do so, there didn't feel like there was much at stake.
And this one is tricky to do with such short time but, I need some music! :)

Thanks for the long reply! All you criticisms are perfectly valid imo, they are mostly due to our pretty limited understanding of music and rhythm. We went in thinking "Ok a rhythm game, how hard can it be?" - Turns out, it can get quite hard ^^' Next time we'll surely aim for more variety.
They're so much more complicated than you'd think aren't they? hahaha

I had some trouble at first I didn’t know what to do really but I got the hang of it just like that it kikes in your mind. Very simple game I like the artwork. The Level buttons look like just some text to me, I didn’t think they are buttons so I done the custom level at first. Anyway keep up the good work!
Really interesting design! The game feels super rhythmic to play.
Great idea! When I was looking at a theme I thought about music and music loops (things like loopers, etc.) but didn't think about rhythm games. It plays great, and quickly gives you the feeling of getting better in it. Also it's really simple and explains it's rules quickly so really easy to get into.
Great concept! Too hard for my old brain, but a nice game. A bit of a slower tutorial at the start could help getting the player used to the rhythm.

That's the curse of programming a game yourself, you'll lose all intuition for how difficult it is for new players, and playtesters are hard to come by :D

I really enjoy the gameplay, and it is very colorful, reminds me of a just dance arcade system, but on my computer! Nice job!
Love your concept! I love rhythm games so this was right up my alley lol- the create your own custom level option is great too. I could totally see this being elaborated on in the future !

We decided against a game over penalty, so it penalizes you on the score and your ears (from trying this right now :P)

This was really fun! I appreciated the ability to put in your own word and timing. Would love to see a little more variation in the audio also the color switching can be a little hard to look at but overall really fun!
Really like the idea of a typing focused rhythm game. I think this needs some proper tracks not just a beat, but it was a cool proof of concept.
